Carolina Panthers To Take On The Dirty Birds Of Atlanta

The Atlanta Falcons travel too Charlotte this Sunday to take on the 2-1 Panthers who are trying too bounce back from a loss in Minnesota. An interesting surprise that no one thought would happen is Matt Ryan not only him but the Atlanta Falcons in general. Anyone who predicted that the dirty birds would be 2-1 and averaging 203 yards on the ground are absolute liars. The Falcons also yield about 306 yards a game which is about middle in the league but considering the season they had last year. I think this is the surprise team in the NFL,and if they finish 8-8 or better this season coach Mike Smith has too be up there for coach of the year. Going in too Sunday the panthers have too get a pass rush on Matt Ryan while being able too stop the run. The Cardiac Cats defense was able too contain Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor for the most part last Sunday, but Gus Frerotte hit his guys when he was under pressure when he had too. Matt Ryan has that kind of talent, with that said if the Panthers can get pressure on the rookie QB he can and will make mistakes. The number one x-factor for the Falcons is Micheal The Burner Turner they must be able to contain him. For the Falcons its all about stopping what John Fox and Jeff Davison like too do best which is running the football, if you can do that you have too make sure that Jake Delhomme doesn't pick you apart with his clutch arm and one of the most dangerous receivers in the NFL. On offense you must be able too get Micheal Turner and the running game established so your rookie QB isn't under pressure and Mike Smith and his offensive coaching staff can open up the play action. I think the Panthers contain turner like they have LT, AP, Taylor, and Forte. It also seems that the Panthers 2 headed running game gets the best of the Falcons defense and Jake Delhomme and his receiver core do the rest.
