UFC in Brazil: The Top 10 Fighters Fans Want To See on the Card
As Dana White announced a while back, the UFC will be making its return to Brazil this year.
The UFC currently has 34 Brazillians under contract, and you can assume that they will want to put as many of them as possible, plus some extras, on the card.
Everyone has their favorite fighters, so everyone would want to see different people on the card.
Here are the top 10 fighters that fans want to see on the card.
Honorable Mentions

Extra Honorable Mention: Royce Gracie
2 of 12
Obviously people speculated about this one, but it is unlikely to see him fight.
I've seen possibilities of him being a referee, or taking part in a grappling exhibition, and I'm sure the fans would love to see that.
10. Lyoto Machida
3 of 12
Lyoto Machida is number 10 on the list, and he would be higher if not for his two fight losing streak.
Lyoto is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, and even with his mini-skid, he is 16-2 in his MMA career, and he is 8-2 in the UFC. He would certainly be someone the fans want to see on the card.
9. Thiago Silva
4 of 12
Thiago Silva is 6-2 in the UFC and 15-2 in his MMA career.
Silva was last seen destroying Brandon Vera's nose at UFC 125, and is looking to make his return at UFC 130 against Rampage Jackson (unless his urine comes back dirty).
He is a violent man, and would be a great competitor to put on the card.
8. Minotauro Nogueira
5 of 12
Minotauro Nogueira is a legend of the sport, and is a fan favorite. He is 3-2 in his UFC career, and is this and this in his MMA career. Although he hasn't fought in almost a year, he has made it clear he wants to return on the Brazil card.
He would certainly put on a show, and knowing him, it would be a war.

Demian Maia (14-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) is one of the best practitioners of BJJ in all of mixed martial arts.

7 of 12
Vitor Belfort (19-9 MMA, 8-5 UFC) was most recently seen being front kicked into unconsciousness at UFC 126.
Vitor Belfort also fought on the last UFC card in Brazil, UFC Brazil, when he beat down on Wanderlei Silva, causing a TKO after only 44 seconds.
5. Junior Dos Santos
8 of 12
Junior dos Santos (12-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) was last seen at UFC 117, where he laid a 15 minute smackdown on Roy Nelson.
After that fight, he was supposed to get a title shot, but due to an injury to Velasquez, he will now coach on TUF 13, and fight Brock Lesnar at UFC 131, with the winner getting the title shot against Velasquez.
4. Mauricio Rua
9 of 12
Mauricio Shogun Rua (19-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He is known for his aggressive striking and use of foot stomps.
Rua was last seen defeating Lyoto Machida for the light heavyweight championship at UFC 113. He was supposed to fight Rashad Evans at UFC 128, but after an injury to the challenger, Jon Jones will now face Shogun.
3. Jose Aldo
10 of 12
Jose Aldo (18-1 MMA, 8-0 WEC) is the current UFC Featherweight Champion. He was last seen at WEC 51, where he defeated Manny Gamburyan and defended his title. He was later promoted to the UFC Featherweight Champion.
He is due to make his offical UFC debut at UFC 129, where he will defend his title against Mark Hominick.
2. Wanderlei Silva
11 of 12
Wanderlei Silva is a legend of the sport, and a fan favorite. He is 33-10-1 (1 NC) in his MMA career, and is 3-5 in his UFC career.
He has not fought since UFC 110, where he won a unanimous decision over Michael Bisping. He is set to face Brian Stann at UFC 130.
1. Anderson Silva
12 of 12
Anderson Silva is the current UFC Middleweight Champion. He holds a professional MMA record of 28-4 and a UFC record of 13-0.
He was last seen knocking out the number 6 fighter on the list, Vitor Belfort.
No date has been announced for Silva's return, although it will most likely be against Yushin Okami or Georges St. Pierre.
