Philadelphia It's Time To Give Some Props
Since the day the boos rained down on draft day, Donovan McNabb has gotten a rough card dealt to him by not only the Philadelphia sports fans but the media. As a long time McNabb supporter I think it's finally time that the McNabb start to get some respect as a top quarterback in the NFL.
Yesterday, Donovan rallied his team after a difficult loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Monday and managed to keep the Eagles in good position by stomping on the cross state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the game wasn't an offensive show like we've seen in the first two games of the season, McNabb only made one mistake, throwing his first interception of the season on a broken play. Still he managed to go 24-35 for 196 yards with one touchdown. Unfortunately McNabb couldn't stretch the field for a big paly like they have in the first to games but relied on his short routes to move the ball when needed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
McNabb looks better than ever and managed to carry the birds to a 15-6 victory over the Steelers despite losing his most productive offensive weapon, Brian Westbrook. Not to mention the chest contusion that McNabb sustained towards the end of the first half.
Granted, Donovan was helped by the astounding play of the Eagles defense who managed 9 sacks and 2 turnovers, including a safety that put the team up 10-3 early. Also, the Eagles continue to get excellent play out of special teams as the punter Sav Rocca managed to pin the Steelers inside the 20 three times.
This team has the leader it needs and has been lacking since the heartbreaking Superbowl loss 4 years ago. Donovan McNabb is back ladies and gentlemen, he might not break off 20 yard runs, but his arm is back and his head is back in the game and he looks to be determined to lead this team to the postseason.
