Pittsburgh Steelers: So Much For All That Dynasty Talk And Big Ben Being Elite
Heading into Super Bowl Sunday, the talk all week was that the Steelers are the most dominant franchise in history. The current Steelers team was being called a "dynasty" by a lot of so-called experts. They were all on Ben Roethlisberger's jock strap and declaring him a QB that is in the same class as Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees... and now Aaron Rodgers as well.
Well, all that went out the window on Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers showed us who Ben Roethlisberger really is, and that's just a pretty good QB that benefits from having a dominant defense.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Packers exposed the Steelers' weakness. That secondary got picked apart by Aaron Rodgers. Had it not been for a ton of drops, that game would have been a blowout. It easily could have been 35-3 instead of the 21-3 lead the Packers built in the first half.
The media was so quick to declare Ben Roethlisberger among the very best QBs in the NFL. They were saying, "He has that 'it' factor."
I know all the Steelers fans think he is great, but the truth is that half the starting QBs in the league could have won a Super Bowl with the Steelers defenses he won it all with. Big Ben got the Packers going with that perfect pass to a GB defender in the first quarter then went on to gift-wrap another one for the Packers later on.
Face it, Steelers fans, your team and your QB aren't who you thought they were.
