Manny Pacquiao Video: Watch Pacman Show Us Around On MTV Cribs

I'll admit: MTV Cribs used to be a guilty pleasure of mine.

But it grew old quickly because basically you just kept seeing the same thing over and over. Famous people kindly invite you in, show you around their tricked-out homes, with a theatre room, a frig stocked with Crystal or neatly aligned bottled water, kids' rooms with flatscreen HD televisions and then their car collection to top it off.

Oh, and don't forget the backyard, where they "go to think about life." 

Now pound-for-pound champ Manny Pacquiao has been sucked into the show, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Watch the video and you don't see an overly lavish house, with things like a theatre room or his own personal gym. The place is actually decorated nice too (props to the interior designer).

While I'm not a fan of modern art, I give him credit though for all the paintings and sculptures you see.

To me, the coolest part are the fight photos hanging on the walls. Once again, it wasn't overboard, which could very well be the case for a man who is an icon back in the Philippines.

If you think about it, he could have walls covered with photos, framed articles and memorabilia from his world titles.

I was caught off guard when I saw that Manny did this show, but the more I thought about it, it's not too shocking. This is the same guy after all who sang with Will Ferrell on The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

Obviously, he doesn't take himself too seriously.

Compared to other houses you've seen on MTV Cribs, Manny's is pretty tame, but he does have one item that is a little over-the-top.

The waterfall/outdoor fireplace was a nice touch there near the pool, don't you think?
