Super Bowl 2011: Better Hair, Troy Polamalu Or Clay Matthews?
Ah, there might not be a more manly topic than arguing which player has better hair than the other (just kidding).
But, it's Super Bowl Sunday, so at this point everything is up for debate.
Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers and Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers are known for many things.
Flying around the field, forcing fumbles, wrecking havoc for opposing offenses, and yes, even their hair.
Today's topic is simple.
Who has the better hair, Clay Matthews or Troy Polamalu.
Let's start the breakdown.
Breakdown: Troy Polamalu's Hair
1 of 3
Troy Polamalu's hair is very different from anyone's in the NFL.
Just look at the main picture for this slide.
His hair is so long, curly, and thick it's crazy. I honestly don't know which of those three his hair is more of than the others.
Polamalu has had this long hair for years now, adding to his argument.
The one big thing that Polamalu can also claim to is having his own hair commercial. If you haven't seen it, go to YouTube and type in "Troy Polamalu head and shoulders commercial."
Not only did Head and Shoulders shampoo feature Polamalu in a commercial, they took out an insurance policy on his hair.
That's right, his hair is so awesome that the people at Head and Shoulders took out a one million dollar insurance policy just to make sure nothing happens to his precious locks.
Breakdown: Clay Matthews Locks

The only thing that Clay Matthews' hair and Polamalu's hair have in common is length. That is it.
Matthews hair is like a dirty blonde version of Fabio's. Seriously, think about it for a second.
Matthews has much thinner hair, allowing for it to flap in the wind more freely.
The thin blonde hair on Matthews, makes him instant eye candy for women.
Unlike Polamalu, Matthews long hair is relatively new.
It is only Matthews second year in the NFL, and if you recall his days at USC, he did not always have these long flowing locks.
Matthews hair almost matches the Packers jersey, making his case stronger.
The combination of his long dirty blonde hair, California background in his past, and his "Fabio-esque" look, makes Matthews an instant stud with the ladies.
Final Verdict: Polamalu's Hair Or Matthews Flowing Locks?
3 of 3
I've got to go with Polamalu's hair on this one.
He has way to many combinations of things going for him.
The years and years of growing this, the fact that his hair is thicker than a rug, the commercials he is featured in, and the insurance policy are just too much to overcome.
Honestly, how many people have you ever heard of a company taking out an insurance policy on their hair? That's just crazy.
If Matthews had a hair deal like Polamalu (which he might soon), we would have a totally different debate on our hands.
So if you still haven't decided who you think will win tonight, go with the guy with better hair.
Take the years of experience and growth. Go with Mr. Head and Shoulders himself (literally), and watch Polamalu's hair make play after play tonight.
Enjoy the game tonight, but most importantly, enjoy the amazing hair on display!
