Ten Top Tens After Week 4 In College Football
Top Ten Teams
1) Georgia - Big road wins will earn you this ranking
2) Florida - Read their new book: How To Blow Out Your Rival On The Road.
3) Oklahoma - Have scored enough points that they still outscore most on a bye week.
4) USC - Ohio State has done all they can to remove the luster of the Trojans win.
5) LSU - WOW
6) Texas - Flying under the radar agreeing with the Longhorns.
7) Wisconsin - The team to beat in the Big Ten.
8) Penn State - Would like to see them play someone decent.
9) Wake Forest - Made Jimbo Fisher look downright silly.
10) BYU - Can a non-BCS school bust into the Championship Game?
Ten Teams Who Really Disappointed Us This Week
1) Tennessee - When you can't show up to play your rival at home things are bad.
2) Rutgers - The wheels are off the cart.
3) UCLA - They look awful.
4) Kansas State - Just a disorganized mess.
5) West Virginia - We can squarely point fingers at the Head Coach.
6) Florida State - The Noles embarassed themselves.
7) Texas Tech - Let the record book always state that you played UMass this week.
8) Kansas - Same as above, insert Sam Houston State.
9) Arkansas - The Hogs got smoked.
10) East Carolina - A great story comes to an abrupt halt.
Ten Best QB's Of This Week
1) Jarrett Lee - The only thing impressive in the stats is the W.
2) Chase Daniel - This is getting silly.
3) Robert Marve - If you didn't see this kid you need to, scary stuff.
4) Tim Tebow - Is there a player in the country more liked by his team mates?
5) Colt McCoy - 4 TD's and only 4 incomplete passes, yikes!
6) David Johnson - Ho hum, 469 yards and 6 TD's.
7) Kellen Moore - Another huge win for this program.
8) Terelle Pryor - How much pressure can he handle? A ton.
9) Robert Griffin - One of my new favorite players.
10) Chase Holbrook - 5 TD's for the under rated one.
Ten Teams That Don't Belong On The Schedule
1) Massachusetts - Texas Tech wants respect?, you have to be kidding.
2) Sam Houston State - They're gaining popularity; with Kansas at least.
3) Nicholls State - Did Memphis need an easy win this bad?
4) SE Louisiana - Louisiana Tech imports a double directional.
5) Tennessee Tech - It's official, Western Michigan is making up teams again.
6) Wofford - Things are so bad in South Carolina this is becoming a "circle" game.
7) Portland State - I guess Washington State didn't want to go winless.
8) Murray State - Western Kentucky actually expects us to believe that there's a state called Murray.
9) Northeastern - At least the Huskies got an all expense paid trip to beautiful Syracuse.
10) Alabama State - Thanks to UAB they're now winless in 2 divisions.
Ten Coaches in the News (at least on my Blog)
1) Bill Stewart - I wish I had something funny to say like you can rearrange some letters in his name to spell idiot, but he can't even get that right.
2) Greg Schiano - Um, coach, your players are punching each other.
3) Art Briles - A real breath of fresh air at Baylor.
4) Randy Shannon - Looks like a guy who will have his fourth ring in a year or two.
5) Les Miles - He does it again.
6) Ron Prince - Youth isn't always a good thing.
7) Joe Paterno - He is College Football.
8) Bobby Johnson - Not too early to be talking Coach of the Year.
9) Chris Peterson - Makes a win over a BCS conference front runner seem routine.
10) Bobby Bowden - That may have been it.
Ten Things I Noticed This Week
1) Bob Davie doesn't get on my nerves anymore - He even adds something sometimes.
2) I would rather watch anything than listen to Brent Musburger - That Fresno-Toledo game wasn't bad.
3) ESPN's Game Day can be a new Zen Coan - If no one watches did it really happen?
4) I can watch 11 games at once - I'll be going for 12 next week.
5) Just because the point spread says so it doesn't make teams a favorite - I see this a lot but many called Florida State an underdog but they were laying 5 points.
6) Common decency still exists - The stoppage and unity in the South Florida-FIU game makes the world a better place.
7) We may have more than 3 undefeated teams this year - I have never said this before nor have I ever been "the sky is falling" type but the top teams are really good and the bottom teams are really bad.
8) Craig James is awful - It's probably safe to guess I'm the last one to know.
9) Army doesn't need to play anyone - They are thoroughly capable of beating themselves.
10) Some coaches are put on Earth to drive me nuts - It's days later and I'm still mad at Bill Stewart.
Top Ten "I Told You So's" You'll Hear This Week... aka. excuse me while I roll my eyes
1) Notre Dame was going to lose - Duh.
2) Arkansas Stinks - Really, I didn't notice.
3) The SEC is the best conference - Maybe it was the nightmares from watching those hits that give it away.
4) Penn State was going to win - They we're favored by 28 1/2, that was a brave call.
5) Jimbo Fisher isn't good - let's try every person in the entire Southeast region of the country and see if they "fit in" the Nole offense.
6) East Carolina was going to lose at some point - I thought the Oklahoma winning streak was in jeopardy.
7) Missouri scores a ton - Ya think?
8) Boise State is good - I guess the BCS bowl win 2 years ago wasn't enough of a message.
9) Upsets happen - I haven't heard anyone mention that Appalachian State beat Michigan last year in almost 2 weeks.
10) Terelle Pryor is the future at Ohio State - Maybe that whole national High School Player of the Year thing was the dead giveaway.
Top Ten Statements I've Made This Season or Pre Season I Would Love To Have Back
1) Georgia hasn't done anything to merit being #1 - The Dawgs are top dog in my book.
2) Tim Tebow is over rated - And Moses didn't part the Red Sea either.
3) TCU will finish 5th in their division - Nice preview I wrote. Really adds to my credibility.
4) Minnesota Stinks - I was wrong unless they're the worst undefeated team after 4 weeks ever.
5) Rich Rodriguez can win with anything - No he can't.
6) The Big East is great from top to bottom - What was I thinking?
7) Penn State is over rated - I still would like to see them step up the competition but they are making me look silly about right now.
8) The Big 12 is the worst conference - They still play a ton of cup cakes but have beaten some good teams out of conference as well.
9) Brent Musburger is the worst announcer in the business - Actually I meant that one and don't take it back.
10) Phil Fulmer isn't in trouble - It's safe to say he is.
My Ten Favorite Spots on the Web

3) A site so good it doesn't have a name - A big part of my Saturday.
4) Covers - Who doesn't comparison shop?
5) The Googster - Who doesn't use this?
6) ESPN - I only use this for scores these days.
7) Fox - They publish Bleacher Creature stuff when they're feeling smart enough that day.
8) Twitter - If anyone can figure out why this fascinates me please let me know.
9) Need to settle an argument? - This is the place to do it.
10) You Tube - Never ceases to amaze me.
Top Ten Games on the Schedule for Week 5
1) Alabama at Georgia - A lot of people's top ten's will change.
2) Illinois at Penn State - A nice match up.
3) TCU at Oklahoma - Could be interesting.
4) Minnesota at Ohio State - We're going to find out a lot in this one.
5) North Carolina at Miami - This game will be for a lot more in the upcoming years.
6) Virginia Tech at Nebraska - Even sounds weird to say it, have they ever played before?
7) Tennessee at Auburn - Two bruised teams looking to bounce.
8) Purdue at Notre Dame - That's how weak the schedule is.
9) Maryland at Clemson - Could be the exclamation point on the Tommy Bowden farewell party.
10) UAB at South Carolina - If just the sound of this doesn't cure insomnia nothing will.
