The Real Reason for ECW's Recent Success

The real reason for ECW's great success recently has been because of two people that would be  The Miz and  John Morrison. Both self proclaimed Hollywood A-listers have been on a tear as of late, the ratings have been through the roof and it was proven this past week on RAW when it was Miz and Morrison against the best high flyers in the WWE, Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio.

It was the highest rated part of the show, why because of Bourne and Mysterio, maybe, but more for Miz and Morrison. Their popularity in the WWE with the fans is great, especially with their weekly show "The Dirt Sheet" on WWE.com.

They are heels, but funny, especially Morrison, basing his character on rock and roll legend John Morrison, with his laid back demeanor and persona, but also could surprise you. The Miz is really entertaining, with years of reality shows, he has his mic skills down, that is one thing Morrison needs to work on just a bit.

However anyone who watches them knows that John Morrison is the better wrestler, out of the two. The WWE knows that so they really want to push Morrison to a possible World title reign, out of ECW. He has been and Intercontinental Champion, Tag Champion, and ECW Champion, so he has the resume to prove he is worth the investment.

However the WWE is also pushing The Miz, did you notice he made it into the Championship Scramble and Morrison didn't, it wasn't that they didn't like Morrison, its just that they want tp push both, but can't because Morrison is so far ahead in wrestling ability.

If you had to ask people who their favorite stars on ECW were they would say Miz and Morrison, maybe Dreamer, but that is another story. ECW has been out of the ranks as a good place for superstars to be put, its been like the next level of developmental wrestling after FCW.

Now with all the new stars, and high-flying its clear some have to stand out. That is what Miz and Morrison are doing in my opinion. And the WWE maybe thinking the same thing. In the World there are winners and losers, Miz and Morison say be Jelous.
