Spread Eagle: Week 3 NFL Picks

If there's been one resounding lesson I've learned over the past two weeks, it's that you need to trust your gut.  Four different times in last week's picks column, I started writing my rationale for the pick and eventually switched the pick to the other team because I was combing the stats, data and trends so carefully that I over-thought it.  Had I chosen the Bills, Redskins, Giants and Raiders like my gut instincts said, my record going into Week 3 would be much more respectable.   In any event, we're doing quick picks this week, but don't be fooled…I'll be wagering more on the games this week than any other week in the Spread Eagle Era.
