Pro Bowl 2011 Touchdown Video: Watch Center Alex Mack Rumble to the End Zone
Does anybody really want to attempt to downplay the awesomeness that was Alex Mack’s touchdown run?
Yeah, nobody on the NFC side by the end of the play… Except for one man, New Orleans Saints safety Roman Harper.
Should’ve called it quits, Roman.

Alex Mack jumps in front of a backward lateral and proceeds to rumble down the field.
Like they said during the replay, Alex Mack will never forget this moment.
Know what?
Neither will I.
This was the single most awesome moment of the 2011 Pro Bowl, second only to Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Jordan Gross checking Brandon Meriweather on a fumble return, which was ultimately overturned.
Even better is that Alex Mack was just announced to the team this week as an injury replacement.
Had the New York Jets center Nick Mangold not withdrawn, we would never have been allowed into “the secret world of Alex Mack.”
It’s good to see Mack in the Pro Bowl after clearing the way for teammate running back Peyton Hillis’ breakout season.
Offensive lineman don’t receive enough credit for everything they do in the NFL, so it makes it that much more exciting when they score a touchdown.
I mean, look at the hands! Mack snatches the rock out of the air and turns the blazing jets on to rumble down the sidelines.
Mack clearly watched some Peyton Hillis highlights this season.
Just for good measure, like Hillis, Mack doesn’t just eat Roman Harper’s tackle attempt, but dips his shoulder to knock Harper back before finally diving into the end zone to add some extra flare to the run.
Harper should call Alex “Mack Daddy” the next time he sees him after that horrific attempt.
