Watching the Baltimore Ravens versus Pittsburgh Steelers game, one thing was pretty obvious. The Ravens still do not fully trust Joe Flacco. When the Ravens were up 21 to 7 in the first half, they went into their conservative gameplan. Teams like the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and New Orleans Saints go for the kill when they get the lead because of the faith in their quarterbacks. The Ravens don’t do this because they don’t trust Flacco. The offense is limited. Joe can make all of the throws but the team doesn’t trust him to do it. That got me thinking, what other teams don’t trust their big name quarterbacks.

These are the top 5 big name quarterbacks whose teams don’t trust them.

1. Donovan McNabb – Redskins

Getting benched for Rex Grossman says it all.

2. Chad Henne – Dolphins

The Dolphins tried to start Chad Pennington before throwing Henne back on the field.

3. Vince Young – Texans

Young never learned to progress past his first read and Fisher only gave him half of the Titans playbook.

4. Kyle Orton – Broncos

Orton only threw the ball a lot because the Broncos were so terrible. He ended up getting benched for Tim Tebow.

5. Matt Cassel – Chiefs

Cassel was counted on to throw the football only in emergency situations. The Chiefs were a playoff team because of their running game. Cassel had a nice season but when the Chiefs were forced to rely on his arm; he had his worst game of the season.
