Wide receiver Donte Stallworth will be entering the free agent market this offseason, and is looking to reunite with quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots

Stallworth, a former Patriot, played on the record-breaking 16-0 2007 New England Patriots team, and had one of the best seasons of his career with Brady.

From Stallworth's home in Miami, he has welcomed the idea of rejoining New England.

"Oh yeah, definitely, I had the best time in New England," Stallworth said. "I made a lot of friends in that area, in the organization, on the team."

Stallworth's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, will be attending upcoming events in the NFL, such as the Senior Bowl, and Stallworth hopes he can put in a good word for him.

"Hopefully, if he's able to run across someone within the Patriots' organization and make a good conversation, that wouldn't be too bad of an idea."

Stallworth had one of his best years in '07 with New England. He caught 46 passes for 697 yards and three touchdowns.

The wide receiver then went on to play for the Cleveland Browns for one year, and then was forced out of football for one year.

Stallworth committed DUI manslaughter in the 2008-09 offseason and was suspended by the league for one year.

If Stallworth were to return to New England, he still has a lot to offer. In his prime, he was one of the league's best deep threats, and being only 30 years old, he still has a lot left to play with.
