Jeff Fisher Reportedly Out As Coach of the Tennessee Titans
According to a report from SI.com, Jeff Fisher will not be returning as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans next season.
The report is saying that both the Titans and Fisher are prepared to part ways, meaning the front office is ready to completely clean house for the organization.
This will come as a surprise to many Titans fans who saw Fisher's job as "safe" for at least another season when Vince Young was released.

It's also a shocker because Fisher still has one more year left on his current contract.
If this news becomes true, then this will certainly leave the Titans in complete shambles. They already dismissed defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil earlier this month.
However, this could end up being a total swing in the sense that Young could now remain the Titans quarterback.
We all know how much owner Bud Adams likes Young, so it's very likely that Young will now stay in Nashville.
This would free up the options that the Titans have with their 8th overall pick in the NFL Draft if the quarterback position is still spoken for.
The Titans have many needs on the defensive side of the ball, so it's likely that the Titans will now go with a defensive player with their first pick.
Fisher compiled an overall record of 141-116 as the coach of the Oilers/Titans franchise, but garnered a lot of criticism due to not bringing a Super Bowl victory to the franchise.
The NFL coaching landscape has become a "what have you done for me lately" kind of business, and the Titans have struggled to get over the hump over the last few seasons.
There are many intriguing names out there to become Fisher's replacement, including Bill Cowher, Eric Mangini, and Jon Gruden.
Fisher was the longest-tenured head coach in the NFL and said numerous times that he wanted to retire as the Titans head coach.
