Jason Witten Number One Among Week Three Fantasy Tight Ends
Jamal CollierSep 17, 2008
These rankings are reflective of how this writer believes NFL players will perform, from a fantasy (ESPN) standard scoring perspective, in their current situations and Week Three Matchups.
- Jason Witten, DAL (@ GB). Failed to score so far this year, but number one until further notice.
- Tony Scheffler, DEN(vs NO). As long as Scheffler remains a part of Jay Cutler's passing performances against teams that give up 300 (or 299 plus) passing yards to Denver, he will remain prominent in the ranks.
- Antonio Gates, SD(vs NYJ). Gates has talent. Monday, he will remind those who forgot.
- Tony Gonzalez, KC(@ ATL). Gonzalez has talent, too. But he'll remind the doubters on Sunday.
- John Carlson, SEA(vs STL). Matt Hasselbeck's most consistently present target thus far.
- Kellen Winslow, CLE(@ BAL).
- Jeremy Shockey, NO (@ DEN).
- Owen Daniels, HOU (@ TEN).
- Chris Cooley, WAS (vs ARI).
- Heath Millier, PIT (@ PHI).
- Vernon Davis, SF(vs DET).
- Robert Royal, BUF (vs OAK).
- Randy McMichael, STL (@ SEA).
- LJ Smith, PHI (vs PIT).
- Anthony Fasano, MIA (@ NE).
- Visanthe Shiancoe, MIN (vs CAR).
