Emmanuel Adebayor on Way to Madrid in Loan Deal with Permanent Switch in Summer

It seems that the Adebayor to Madrid story is about to be concluded with a £3.5m fee for a loan until the middle of July covering the players wages.

In the summer, he is likely to move on permanently for £15m, which is a substantial loss to City but also a relief in finally putting Adebayor's less-than-successful period at Eastlands to an end.

Some are suggesting that Kaka might still travel in the opposite direction, but that seems less likely now.
