WWE's Main Event Scene: Analyzing WWE Biggest Problem
In this article I am going to attempt to analyze some of WWE's most promised youngsters who have let us down in the Main Event Scene.
Then, because of the quality of the superstars WWE have lost, I decided I will also voice my opinion on how this year's WrestleMania should look.
WWE have lost Batista, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker (injury or not his career is over soon) and Jeff Hardy in the last 18 months.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Miz and Sheamus have promise to be amazing, memorable stars but Vince (for some unknown reason) will not properly push them. And with Jack Swagger being sent lower and lower every Friday night, WWE have screwed up once again.
The guys who can currently draw anything in the WWE are Kane, Rey Mysterio, Edge, CM Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton and maybe The Miz and Sheamus but that is simply not good enough.
Resolving some lost star's problems.
Sheamus - He won the King of the Ring recently and it made no difference to his career whatsoever, WWE made him job to John Morrison for no reason because Morrison basically jobbed to The Miz.
The only way Sheamus can recover is if HHH cleanly loses to him and the chances of that happening are the same as Michael Cole shutting up.
The Celtic Warrior was hyped and pushed too soon and was never given the right chance to develop until after his World Title win.
Jack Swagger - He defeated Randy Orton cleanly, but then at the next PPV he was squashed by The Big Show before cheaply losing the title to Rey Mysterio.
Swagger is so talented and he has just be treated too poorly that is shocking. After Batista and Jeff Hardy left because they did not like WWE's direction, you would think WWE would have learned some sort of lesson.
Ted DiBiase - DiBiase is a bigger let down than anything I have ever seen in a long time. The stable, titles and wins just did not come for him, and that is just so disappointing.
He looks like a star, and has in-ring skills and a platform for storylines because of his background in Legacy, but WWE just dropped the ball again on this man.
Wade Barrett - The Nexus angle should have never happened, to be honest. Barrett would be WWE Champion by now and would have a strong and interesting alliance with Chris Jericho but because of WWE's cursed angle, the ball was dropped on him.
He has created some sort of stable with the one trick pony, Justin Gabriel, the mascot for Wendy's and some guy with a great physique.
Drew McIntyre - This guy is gold dust and very underrated by the biased IWC and virtually all wrestling fans.
His work in the squared circle is great. He does not need to show boat or over-sell, it just naturally flows to him, which is amazing.
His mic skills and look are also important, and the fact that he is a Scottish brawler is unique.
He was undefeated until he met the Deadman! Here is my problem with the booking of this match.
If Drew was allowed to roll-up 'Taker for the win it would really increase his profile but maintain 'Taker's sinister Legacy, WWE allow Khali to beat 'Taker but not Drew?
That is ridiculous.
What signing can help WWE at this stage?
Sting - WWE should just offer him bucket loads of money and a huge push because I can think of some matches that would draw some major buy-rates.
Sting vs. Undertaker
Sting vs. Triple H
Sting vs. John Cena
Sting vs. Kane
Sting vs. Edge and, well, the whole WWE Roster because that is just how well Sting can work in the ring.
Batista - Signing him on a six month contract would really help. In six months Sheamus could be more established, a new World Champion could be crowned and The Miz would be champion eight months and who knows, his skills in the ring may improve.
JBL - Bringing him back until Mania would be a very bright idea. He could come back and wrestle the match he never really got the chance to with Rey, or he could face Alberto Del Rio, either scenario would help.
Bobby Lashley - I know he was never World Champion, but he could definitely wrestle and will attract more buys and compete in some good matches.
Brock Lesnar - Seeing the big man return would help the current roster. However, it is just not happening.
WWE need to sign one or two guys, or force Triple H back into the ring because, to be honest, I cannot understand how Vince is making money but then again, it is Vince McMahon.
SmackDown's Current Main Event Scene; The Big Show, Mysterio, Wade Barrett, Edge, Alberto Del Rio and Kane.
Without 'Taker SmackDown is never as entertaining, but it is their own fault for pushing Rey and 'Taker too much over the years and no other athlete.
RAW has the same problems with John Cena.
Its lacking some star power and considering R-Truth has starting stalking Alberto and the fact that Kane is gone AWOL, it is far worse then it looks on paper.
Raw's Current Main Event Scene; CM Punk, Sheamus, John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz
The Cena-Punk feud is the biggest attraction at the moment. The Orton-Miz angle is not as interesting now that Lawler and Morrison have been dropped from it.
Sheamus is doing nothing on Raw, he has no feud and looks to have none coming in the future, unless Trips return to save the day.
Realistic WrestleMania Card that will Make People want to Purchase the Event
Its time to look at my pick for a WrestleMania card that has the ability to attract fans and put on a good event.
1) Diva's Action: Natalya vs. Beth Phoenix; For the Diva's Championship. I could not think of a better way to open the show.
2) Intercontinental Title Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Justin Gabriel. Gabriel eliminated Kofi from the Royal Rumble, and it is time for redemption.
3) Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Tyson Kidd, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Christian, Big Show and Evan Bourne.
4) World Title Match No. 1: Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio. Alberto won the Elimination Chamber, and this is the re-match.
5) Number One Contender Match for the World Title: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio. This will allow Swagger and Rey to maintain dignity whilst Barrett gives Zek an opportunity.
6) Last Man Standing Match: Triple H vs. Sheamus. Sheamus is in the final two with a beat down Morrison and out comes HHH to help Morrison and ruin Sheamus' dreams.
7) Winner Leaves RAW: John Cena vs. CM Punk. It is the only real way to climax this feud
8) Tag Team Action: Kane and Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett and Heath Slater. The rumour is almost confirmed now that The Corre have established themselves on SD.
9) World Title Match No. 2, No holds barred, with Jerry Lawler as Referee: Randy Orton vs. John Morrison vs The Miz. It has been brewing for months.
This card is the only way WWE can attract viewers without having any HOF guys return or without signing some much needed quality.
It has some matches we have been waiting for, for a while and some that we have seen in the past but we know from experience they will be great encounters.
People will naturally be disappointed that Punk and Christian are not in title matches but If I were Vince, Edge and Christian would headline the event and Punk/Orton would back them up in the other title match.
So who's your favourite Main Eventer in the WWE? Who do WWE need to sign? What do you think of match card and if you like it pick your winners!
