College Football Top 25: Post Coliseum Showdown
Here is the new top 25 after the "showdown" between OSU and USC.
1. USC
Lower: I can't think of one good reason why any team should be ahead of the Trojans.
2. Georgia
Higher: They beat a good South Carolina team on the road.
Lower: The win was not very pretty.
3. Oklahoma
Higher: The Sooners offense has been great so far this season.
Lower: They haven't played anyone too good.
4. Missouri
Higher: Simply the best offense in the nation. They obliterated an OK Nevada team. Chase Daniel has more touchdowns than incompletions in the last two games.
Lower: The defense still hasn't proved itself against a really good offense.
5. Florida
Higher: They are undefeated and have Tim Tebow.
Lower: They haven't really proved themselves yet.
6. LSU
Higher: The Tigers look like they have a great chance to compete for the SEC.
Lower: Like so many other teams, they haven't proved themselves.
7. Wisconsin
Higher: They beat a really good Fresno State team on the road. Great win.
Lower: They haven't beaten a really good BCS school yet.
8. Texas Tech
Higher: The offense was back to usual and the defense looks like it keeps improving weekly.
Lower: The Red Raiders haven't played a really good team yet.
9. Penn State
Higher: The Nittany Lions have looked great thus far.
Lower: Haven't played a really good team yet.
10. Texas
Higher: They haven't lost a game and have looked mighty impressive.
Lower: They haven't played anyone.
11. Alabama (Looked really good...against Western Kentucky)
12. Auburn (Scored three points and won???)
13. Ohio State (Is there a pulse in Columbus?)
14. BYU (Destroyed UCLA...very impressive)
15. Oregon (Took down a very underrated Purdue team)
16. South Florida
17. East Carolina
18. Kansas
19. Boise St.
20. Wake Forest
21. Clemson
22. Illinois
