There is nothing better in the National Football League than a dramatic comeback.
We have seen some great comebacks over the years, some better than others, but what is more exciting than a team erasing a large deficit?
From the regular season to the postseason, NFL fans have witnessed some of the greatest comebacks in sports history.
The most famous comeback is known as "The Comeback", where the Buffalo Bills came back and won against the Houston Oilers after being down 35-3.
Here are the 10 biggest comebacks in NFL history.
2006: Indianapolis Colts Vs. New England Patriots

Perhaps not the biggest comeback, but the 2006 AFC Championship was one of the most exciting comebacks in postseason history.
The Colts' 18-point comeback was the largest in conference championship history.
Down 21-6 at halftime, the Colts made adjustments and scored on their opening drive of the second half on a one-yard Peyton Manning touchdown to cut the lead to 21-13.
The Colts got the ball back and scored on a one-yard touchdown pass to Dan Klecko and tied the game at 21 after Marvin Harrison caught the two-point conversion.
The Patriots responded with a Jabar Gaffney touchdown from Tom Brady to make it 28-21.
In the fourth quarter and the Patriots up 34-31, the Colts took a 38-34 lead on a three-yard Joseph Addai touchdown.
Brady and the Patriots had another chance, but he was intercepted by Marlin Jackson to secure the 38-34 win.
1989: San Francisco 49ers Vs. Philadelphia Eagles

In a game that took place a week after Philadelphia rallied from 20 points down to defeat the Washington Redskins, the San Francisco 49ers had a comeback of their own in store for the Eagles.
The Eagles went up 21-10 in the fourth quarter before 49ers' quarterback Joe Montana put on one of the greatest shows ever in a single quarter.
Montana was 11-of-12 for 227 yards and four touchdowns in the fourth quarter, leading the 49ers a 38-28 win.
1957: Detroit Lions Vs. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers led this playoff game 27-7 midway through the third quarter before the Lions began their dramatic comeback.
This era's Lions always found ways to win games, and that is exactly what they did against the 49ers.
Tom Tracy led the way with his two rushing touchdowns as the Lions scored the last 24 points of the game to win it 31-27.
The Lions would move on to win the NFL Championship, they have not won since.
1985: Minnesota Vikings Vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles led the Minnesota Vikings 23-0 in the fourth quarter with under nine minutes to play.
In a game that seemed all but over, the Eagles fell apart and the Vikings came roaring back.
Vikings quarterback Wade Wilson threw three touchdown passes to help Minnesota score 28 points in the fourth quarter.
Down 28-23, the Eagles had one more shot but a Ron Jaworski pass fell incomplete to secure the win for Wilson and the Vikings.
2000: New York Jets Vs. Miami Dolphins

One of the biggest comebacks took place during a Monday night game between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
The Jets were down 30-7 early in the fourth quarter before quarterback Vinny Testaverde began to lead an amazing comeback.
The Jets scored 30 points in the fourth quarter and the game-tying touchdown was caught by offensive lineman Jumbo Elliot with 42 seconds left in regulation.
Jets' kicker John Hall hit a 40-yard game-winning field goal to secure a 40-37 overtime victory.
2002: San Francisco 49ers Vs. New York Giants

Jeff Garcia, Terrell Owens and the San Francisco 49ers were down 38-14 late in the third quarter of this NFC wild-card game.
However, a 24-point lead was not enough to hold down the 49ers.
Jeff Garcia was on fire as he led the Niners to 25 unanswered points to take a 39-38 lead in the fourth quarter.
Despite the Giants' collapse, Kerry Collins still had a chance to lead New York downfield to win the game.with a 41-yard field goal.
The snap was mishandled and the Giants were called for an illegal man downfield. The illegal man downfield was eligible on the play, but the referees missed the pass interference call.
The Niners would win the game 39-38.
2010: Philadelphia Eagles Vs. New York Giants

In a game where everything went right for the New York Giants over three-and-a-half quarters, the Philadelphia Eagles managed to erase a 21-point deficit with just under eight minutes to play.
In perhaps the biggest game of the season for the Giants, they were up 31-10 midway through the fourth quarter before Michael Vick and the Eagles began their amazing comeback.
The Eagles tied the game on a touchdown pass from Vick to Jeremy Maclin and the game looked like it was headed to overtime.
However, the Eagles forced a punt and the exciting DeSean Jackson returned it 65 yards with no time left to give the Eagles the 38-31 victory.
This Giants' collapse cost them a playoff berth.
2003: Indianapolis Colts Vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

During the 2003 regular season, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history.
Three touchdowns from Buccaneers' wide receiver Keenan McCardell helped give the Bucs a 28-7 lead in the third quarter.
However, Peyton Manning and the Colts would not go quietly.
The Colts cut the lead to 28-14, but an interception return by Bucs' cornerback Ronde Barber put them back up by 21 with about five minutes left to play.
Manning and the Colts scored 21 points in the final 3:37 of the game to send it into overtime.
The Colts went on to win on a 29-yard Mike Vanderjagt field goal.
1980: San Francisco 49ers Vs. New Orleans Saints

Making only his sixth NFL start, San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Joe Montana began his legendary career with an amazing comeback over the New Orleans Saints.
Down 35-7 midway through the third quarter, Montana and the Niners caught fire as they cut the lead to 35-21 heading into the fourth quarter.
in the fourth, Montana hit Freddie Solomon on a 14-yard touchdown to give the Niners their first lead of the game. The Eagles responded with a touchdown of their own to send the game into overtime.
49ers' kicker Ray Wersching hit a 36-yard field goal in overtime to give San Francisco a 38-35 victory.
1992: Buffalo Bills Vs. Houston Oilers

Both the Bills and Titans or the then-Oilers have participated in two of the greatest playoff games ever played.
This game is known as "The Comeback."
Backup Frank Reich took injured quarterback Jim Kelly's place in this game as Kelly had been injured a week earlier against the Oilers.
The Bills played miserably for most of this game as the Oilers took a 35-3 lead into the third quarter. The game was all but over, right? Wrong.
Reich led the Bills to 28 points in the third quarter to cut the lead to 35-31.
The Bills scored again in the fourth giving them a 38-35 lead. The Oilers still had time to tie the game, and they did, sending the game into overtime tied at 38.
Oilers quarterback Warren Moon threw an interception and two plays later, Steve Christie hit a 32-yard field goal to complete the greatest comeback in NFL history.
