Bills-Jaguars: Buffalo Beats Jacksonville and Florida's Extreme Heat
Bills: 20
Jaguars: 16
With temperatures pushing 97 degrees Fahrenheit, the Bills found a way to comeback and beat the Jags in their Week Two matchup in Jacksonville. If you thought 1-0 was a great way to start the season, 2-0 is even looking better.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Trent Edwards was the man in this game. Going 20-for-25, 239 passing yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, the second-year play-caller for the Bills couldn't have looked better. Trent had several smart and game-changing passes, including a 37-yard bomb to Lee Evans, and a seven-yard toss to the corner of the end zone to rookie James Hardy.
Hardy proved today that he is exactly what the Bills drafted him for: a tall, red-zone threat with great hands. Hardy went up to grab the Bills' second touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter, helping shift momentum towards the Bills and help win the game.
Another fantastic player that helped in this critical victory was Fred Jackson. "Action" Jackson had four receptions for 77 yards and had vital yards after the catch for first downs. Marshawn Lynch had 19 carries for 59 hard-earned yards and a touchdown.
Lynch and Jackson are a successful dual threat that we can look forward to seeing much more of in the future. On the defensive side, Ashton Youboty proved that he is becoming the cornerback the Bills' hoped he would. Playing the nickel role, Ashton had three hard, solo tackles and a sack coming from the outside on Jaguar's quarterback David Garrard.
The Bills did face some problems with Jacksonville's tough running duo in Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor, but on third down, Buffalo's hard-working defense made the stops when they needed to. "Both sides played their hearts out, and it was very hot on that field. It was really hot," Coach Jauron said after the game.
He also added, "I thought our guys did a terrific job staying with it, through the heat, they worked hard and we made enough plays to win." That was exactly right, and this Buffalo team is playing extremely hard, like they want to be playoff contenders, even in the scorching and dangerous heat.
Buffalo will return home to take on the Oakland Raiders for Week Three. Look forward to my preview/prediction on that game. Have an excellent week, thank you for reading, and don't forget...ALWAYS BILLieve.
