Could Vince Young's Injury Be a Blessing In Disguise?
Could Young’s injury be a blessing in disguise for the Titans. Besides the Titan’s wide receiving core, Young seems to be the one inconsistent part of the Titan’s team.
With the Titans’s great defense and solid running game, there should be no excuse for them not making some noise this year.
Although some people think that Kerry Collins is a washed up 35-year old quarterback, I believe that with the Titans capable offensive line, he could be successful.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He still has a great arm and last year in his only start he went 25 for 42 with 280 yards as the Titans beat the Texans 38-36.
Even before Vince Young’s apparent psychological collapse this week (which has been blown out of proportion), it appeared as though Young lost that edge that has made him a successful quarterback.
Last year he statistically had one of the worst seasons any quarterback had with only 12 total touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
People can make excuses for him and claim that he simply had a sophomore jinx last year, but in reality he had a worse quarterback rating his rookie year with 66.7 compared with last year’s 71.1 rating.
However, the difference between his rookie year and last year was those token Vince Young game winning plays he had. Last year, that apparent “it” he had at the end of games seemed to be gone.
Young is showing people this week that he isn’t very good at handling criticism and stress. However, truthfully he has had it relatively easy compared to how it should be.
The main reason Young hasn’t had too many people bashing him, is because although he hasn’t played well the team was just happy making the playoffs
Young still has a lot of potential and I think he could be a good quarterback in the future. But right now Young’s injury could be a win-win situation for the Titans.
If Collins shows he can play well, he could lead the team somewhere this year. If he doesn’t play well, at least maybe a few weeks out of football could give Young a chance to mentally recover and get his so called “it” back.
Young is very lucky he is on a very good team, because if he was put in different situation, I don’t know if he could mentally handle it.
