Arsenal 4-0 Blackburn: Dominant Performance Leads to an Easy Win
It was a great win for the Gunners against Blackburn. They got off to a quick start and never looked back. The last thing the Gunners needed was another tie with Blackburn at the beginning of the season.
Theo Walcott carried his momentum from the English national team into today's match.
For the first time in a long time, it was not Cesc Fabregas who was the greatest creative force on the pitch. He made his presence felt immediately by setting up the first goal of the match for RVP. His speed and technique may be unmatched in all the EPL and he was giving Blackburn defenders fits all day.

Though the stat line didn't show it, Walcott was Arsenal's man of the match based on his form.
Adebayor was the Man of the Match with a hat trick against the Rovers. His performance epitomized what Adebayor is capable of. He can be one of the best strikers in the world if he maintains his form.
Van Persie was also in good form during the match scoring the opening goal.
If these two can stay healthy, I think they can be the best partnership in all of football. The quality these two strikers have and how their abilities complement each other so well makes a manger's mouth water and puts great fear in defenses. I would be hard pressed to find a better pair in all of football.
Concerning the midfielders, Cesc was himself. He made great passes and was the commander of the attacking.
Denilson made some good passes and had an assist. His confidence seems to have returned to him with the return of Cesc Fabregas.
Arsene needs to see how ineffective Denilson is when he is the primary creative force and it important that Cesc is with Denilson. Without Cesc, Denilson is a confused wreck who constantly gives away possession and shows no vision.
The defense wasn't spectacular in this match, but they did pick up another clean sheet. Kolo Toure was an absolute rock in central defense, along with providing some offensive pressure.
Clichy and Sagna were fabulous as well and you come to expect this from them every match. Gallas was not burned like he had been recently, but this was Blackburn. It is important that he marks better and can be more of a stopper for Arsenal.
I was really impressed with Aaron Ramsey. He didn't look tense or nervous in his first Premier League match and contributed with an assist. Though Wilshere did come into the game and became the youngest Gunner to play in a match, he did not have much time to show anyone anything.
This match was important in that Arsenal needs to pick up three points against these teams that are greatly inferior to them. Their performances against Newcastle and Blackburn have showed me that there will be no more painful draws or losses to inferior clubs (as long as Cesc is playing). This is paramount if Arsenal wishes to recapture domestic glory.
