Miami Dolphins: Ex-Dolphins As Upset With the Team As the Fans Are
I'm probably going to get the reputation of being very anti-Dolphins, however, it's a distinction I can live with due to the anger that this team has instilled in me through their incompetence.
I'm not alone when it comes to the anger and fear at the sad state of this once proud franchise.
Numerous former Dolphins from throughout the team's history has come out speaking about the litany of problems with this team, and let's just say that their constructive criticism has fallen more on the criticism side than constructive.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Hall of fame former Miami Dolphins Linebacker Nick Buonicoti had this to say about the team to the Miami Herald:
"This team has been languishing for so long, they have bad karma, People talk about a two-year plan. If you're lucky, it's a five-year plan because they don't have the ingredients to rise above the Patriots and Jets, and the Bills are ahead of them because of Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Bunocoti's then shared some of his opinions about Bill Parcells, stating:
"I like Bill Parcells, but I don't understand why someone would leave a sinking ship. You don't do that and say, 'I'm out of here' and collect my money. When you look at the Patriots, they have two first-round picks coming up, two seconds and two thirds. How are you going to compete with that? You can't do it through free agency. Miami doesn't have a second-round pick. It's a joke. Steve Ross should surround himself with people who are winners. He doesn't have that."
Of course, I could think of a four million good reasons, and one great reason [lack of an NFL QB] that Parcells had for leaving a "sinking ship," and Bunocoti alludes to one:
"Chad Henne has been handled poorly, anybody who is big, strong and with an arm like that should be an NFL quarterback. Eventually, they will get rid of him and he will prove them wrong and be decent.''
These sentiments were echoed in the same article by former Miami Dolphins safety Dick Anderson, who said:
"It looked like Henne had handcuffs on half the time."
More recent former Dolphins, like O.J. McDuffie, have also joined the fray in expressing their dismay and/or anger at the situation the Dolphins are in, as McDuffie told the Herald:
"You look at every playoff team and they have an identify. We don't. Every team has a vertical passing game except us. It's amazing it's been this long since we've been relevant.''
It seems amazing but it isn't. That's what incompetence at the top will do. What will the future of the Miami Dolphins be? If you ask plenty of fans and former Dolphins, it doesn't look much better than the past.
Sadly the Dolphins fans and Dolphins former players have been more correct than management has been in the last decade. When will this vicious cycle end?
