ESPN's Colin Cowherd Would Take 20 NFL Quarterbacks Over Michael Vick
Are you serious?
Hey Colin, ask the Miami Dolphins which QB they would rather have under center.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
ESPN's Colin Cowherd on his daily morning talk show once again continues his hating on Philadelphia Eagles' Michael Vick. He stated a case saying he would choose 70 percent of NFL starting quarterbacks over the MVP runner-up Michael Vick to build his NFL franchise around. The Miami Dolphins' Chad Henne and the Buffalo Bills' Ryan Fitzpatrick are two of the awful players he said have more to offer at the position than Vick.
Cowherd has his issues with Vick's past. I get that. Heck, I may secretly feel the same way.
But to say you would rather have Henne or Fitzpatrick over Michael Vick as your franchise quarterback?
That's absurd! So absurd a hint of cultural bias may be bleeding through. I'm not one to play the race card—trust me, I'm not—but his reasoning is so off base with this issue I can't think of another reason that can cause him to think his viewpoint is an valid one.
As much as I like to listen to his voice of contrition, I cannot side with him on this.
Colin, Vick made some horrible mistakes. Everyone who follows sports is well aware of this. Some people may never root for the guy again because of this—understandable.
As the one of the voices of ESPN Radio, though, it is your duty to give your listening audience an unbiased and credible sports radio show. When you make comments like this you seriously erode your credibility as a journalist.
A final fact on this topic is Cowherd fully supports Ray Lewis (convicted of manslaughter) and Big Ben (accused with evidence of rape). Let's be fair buddy. That's all "WE THE FANS" ask.
