Michael Vick Interception: Is This Game-Ender His Last Pass As an Eagle?

After an amazing comeback year by Michael Vick, complete with the Miracle at the New Meadowlands, his and the Eagles' dream season ended against the Packers earlier tonight.

Down by five with just over a minute left, Michael Vick stepped back on a 1st-and-10. He saw rookie Riley Cooper heading into the end zone and threw a pass his way. He was covered closely by Packers cornerback Tramon Williams, who picked off the ball in the end zone and ran it to the 10-yard line to seal the game.

Michael Vick has made great throws all season, but that was not a throw that should have been made at all. He had three more opportunities and could have thrown it away, and for that matter, Jeremy Maclin was wide open by the 15-yard line. It was an error in judgment that Vick has made few of, but it was very costly nonetheless.

Now, Michael Vick is entering the offseason as a free agent, and he has the opportunity to play elsewhere if he so chooses. He has made the most of his second chance with the Philadelphia Eagles, and many teams would now be willing to bring him in if they need a quarterback who they know can play right now.

Could this be Vick's last snap as an Eagle, or would they bring him back? I would have to think that the Eagles want to, so Vick controls his own destiny for the first time in a while.
