Well with Nnamdi Asomugha's contract being voided and him becoming a free agent, the Raiders are in more trouble than ever.
I just don't see him wanting to come back to the Raiders even if they offered him the big money to stay. This is his chance to see what else is out there and to get some coaching stability with another team. This will indeed hurt the Raiders in a few ways.
They will lose their instant intimidation factor in the secondary.
They will lose a veteran leader not only on the defense but for the whole team.
With him leaving, the other potential free agents such as Zach Miller, Richard Seymour, Michael Bush and Robert Gallery might want to also try to see what else is out there.
They're dropping like flies in Oakland, and things don't look like they will be get any better any time soon as long as Mr. Davis is behind the wheel.
Of course, this is by no means a sure thing. But in Oakland, you never know what's really going to happen. Who knows, maybe we'll see Tom Flores coaching again and Jeff Hostetler behind center.
