Ohio State VS USC, My Prediction........

There's been a lot of hype on the game since it was put on the schedule. The Ohio State vs USC matchup. It's a great matchup on paper, but that's as far as it goes. Even if this was the matchup for the NCAA Championship game the game would still have ended up the same way. A thoroughly beaten Ohio State team and another NCAA Championship for the USC Trojans. Now, that didn't happen instead it came down to LSU and Ohio State with LSU winning of course.

Ohio State has not looked good at all this year. Some people will argue that it's just a gimmick by the Ohio State team to make them look worse then they actually are so they can surprise the Trojans. I don't buy that for a minute. Maybe the Buckeyes have been overlooking their first two opponents and instead during practice were preparing for USC. That makes a lot more sense too me at least.

I just don't think the Buckeyes have any answer for the running back attack that USC brings to the table. If Ohio State does end up stopping the run then Sanchez can pick them apart in the secondary. The Trojans have an excellent receiving core and the ball can be spread around making it even more dangerous for anyteam if they double one of their receivers.

Offensively Ohio State doesn't really bring an offense that the Trojans have. The Trojans have an experienced defense and they can stop the run. They will force the Buckeyes to beat them through the air and I don't see that happening either. Their best receiver was held to 3 catches and 8 yards against Ohio. Who do not have anywhere near the caliber of talent that the USC cornerbacks have.

Keep in mind the fact that USC has scored more touchdowns in one game then the Buckeyes have scored in two games. Another point is that USC has had two weeks since their opening game to prepare for the Buckeyes, while the Buckeyes have only had a week to prepare for the Trojans. I don't see this game being as close as some people think it will. I believe it will be a convincing victory for the Trojans.
