All In - Get em now before someone else does
1. Calvin Johnson - Was selected to be the guy for the Lions and looks like he is becoming the guy in his second year but not just on his own level the teams level. Calvin had 11 balls thrown to him with 2 of them being called back on penalties and he caught 7 of them. 7 out of 9 passes were caught. What I also found interesting is that Roy on the other side only had 7 passes thrown his way with 1 coming back for penalty. Calvin is going to be a key to this offense this season for the Lions if you can get your hands on him do it.
2. Matt Forte - I was not anywhere near liking this kid when the Bears picked him but after doing some reading I thought he could be a decent 2 back type of guy. After seeing him last night I would like to ask Adrian Peterson (no the one on the Bears) if he is looking for a job because AP will not see the field much with Forte healthy. Great signing by the Bears.
Raise - Moving up the charts get your money in and see what you can get.
1. DeaSean Jackson - I was not high on this kid at all coming in to this season. I will be the first to admit it but the kid fits the system almost to perfectly. Get him the ball and let him go. I am not going to go super crazy to get this guy but with Mcnabb looking good he is a nice guy to go out and get. There is always concerns in poker with a raise and with this one there is always that factor of Mcnabb going down, I do not like Jackson at all at that point in a redraft league.
2. Sam Cassell - (matt) - Yes I move him up the charts for sure. He has Randy Moss, Wes Welker and many other weapons surrounding him. The kid knows the system of he would not be there. He might not ok he will not put up Brady #'s but he will be a top 10 QB at seasons end if he remains behind center. The Pats will run the ball I think a little more but with that back field of 100 misfit toys who knows what you will get.
3. Eddie Royal - If you can get him at a decent price go get him. Cutler looked sweet and he looked for Royal often. Marshall coming back is a concern but I still see Royal getting the rock just as much. To me this almost weeds out Darrell Jackson. Maybe he can go back to Seattle god knows they need WR's. I am just not going to give up the farm on a possible one game wonder. * Side Note * - He made Deangeme Hall look silly last night. Its either Royal is good or Hall is that bad.
Check - Don't overplay these cards they will not get better or worse.
1. Michael Turner - Some were on the fence with this guy going in because of the offense and the Atlanta team period but after his 220 yard performance week 1 why should the doubters still doubt? Well because it was against what I consider the worst rush defense in the league. Yes 220 yards is sweet but lets face it that's not going to happen every week. Keep him where you had him one more week lets not get out of control here.
2. Steven Jackson - Don't listen to your friends or enemies for that matter that Jackson is done because he is not. The dude was rusty and its his own fault he should progress nicely and you will see a change next week. I don't think 100% next week but week 3 possibly 4 he will be back. If you can find someone to low ball do it now Jackson will be fine. Eagles defense is not to shabby to top it off.
Bluff - Don't let the performance fool you
1. Donatos Rosario - Yeah his 7 catches were a fluke if you ask me and to top it off when Steve Smith comes back I don't see a lot of him in the lineup unless the over paid Muhammad finds the side line.
2. Braylon Edwards - Coming off the injury DA rusty just all combined really hurt the duo I think this week. I am not worried about him yet.
Fold - Get Rid of them now before its to late and you go broke.
1. TJ Duckett - This dude did not even see the field. Sick of seeing owners drafting this guy like he is a goal line back. If you own him drop him and get a back up kicker or even a third string kicker because they are going to get you more points. If a league member has him call them up and just laugh and keep laughing then say tj duckett then hang up.
2. Seahawks Offense - Yep and I think Holmgren leaves before the season is up. What a pathetic team they put on the field for him in his last season.
3. Vince Young - Dude needs some help big time and he is not going to find the kind of help he is needed on the field. If you have him rid yourselves of this nightmare. I mean your nightmares are probably better than his anyway.
