Jabber NFL Power Rankings Updated
Hey kids! What a week with that first round of games, huh? Some big falls for some teams and some winners that people didn’t expect. It’s still a little early to tell who is going to be for real or not…and who just stumbled the first game. At least we finally have a game to base this weeks NFL Power Rankings on. Let’s have a look…
Coming into the season the Cowboys didn’t give us much reason to think they would be any worse off than last year and they showed us in week one. They had their way with the Browns in week one. When Marion Barber III went out with some sore ribs the Cowboys showed that they made the right picks in Felix Jones and Tashard Choice to back him up. Of course the question of whether or not he can handle the full load will gain momentum now. Monday Night Football has some meaning already as they face the Eagles.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Steelers appear to be back. They smacked around a Texans team that was supposed to be much improved. Willie Parker is back and appears to be playing with a chip on his shoulder after the Steelers used a first round pick in the backfield. Hines Ward outplayed the kids catching the ball, when the other WR’s catch up it could get scary. This week we could see more Brown splatter all over the field.
The question was which Giants team was going to start the season. The Giants from the 2007 regular season or the Giants from the playoff run to the Super Bowl. Eli Manning looks like he is on a mission rather than the usual “Deer in the Headlights” look that is usually on his face. Plaxico Burress appears that he isn’t one of those guys that stop playing when he gets the big payday. The D looked awesome, we just have to see what they look like against a team whose name does not end with Skins.
Who rises and who falls? Where are the Patriots?
