
The 1992 Royal Rumble: WWE's Most Talented Rumble?
The 1992 Royal Rumble was a star-studded affair. This was the first and only time that the Royal Rumble match was for the World Heavyweight championship. In the match there were 11 current WWE Hall of Famers and at least five more who will soon be in. This Royal Rumble should go down as the most talented Royal Rumble ever. Should it be considered the best Rumble ever as well?
The British Bulldog

The individual who drew No. 1 was The British Bulldog, who lasted 23-plus minutes in the match and had three eliminations. The British Bulldog should be in the WWE Hall of Fame one day. He was a two-time tag champion, two-time Hardcore and European champion and an Intercontinental Champion.
The Million Dollar Man

Ted DiBiase was the Million Dollar Man and the second entry in the Rumble. Ted DiBiase is already in the WWE Hall of Fame. Ted DiBiase only lasted just over a minute in the 1992 Royal Rumble. DiBiase was a three-time tag champion and 1988 King of the Ring. He was also a great heel during his run.
Tito Santana

Tito Santana is a current WWE Hall of Famer, lasted 14 minutes in the Rumble and eliminated Shawn Michaels. He is a two-time tag champion, as well as a two-time Intercontinental champion.
Shawn "The Heartbreak Kid" Michaels

A young Shawn Michaels competed in this star-studded Rumble, Michaels was beginning his heel run as the Heart Break Kid. He lasted 15 minutes and had one elimination. Do I even need to say Michaels' career is Hall of Fame bound? Shawn Michaels would go on to win two Royal Rumbles and 14 titles in his WWE career.
The Texas Tornado

Kerry Von Erich is currently in the WWE Hall of Fame. He is a member of the legendary Von Erich family. He held the Intercontental title in his WWE run. He held a total of 40 titles in different wrestling promotions.
Greg Valentine

Greg "The Hammer" Valentine has held over 25 titles in his career. He is currently in the WWE Hall of Fame and is a former Intercontental champion and a tag team champion.
Nikolai Volkoff

Nikolai Volkoff has held more than 10 titles in his career and is a current WWE Hall of Famer. He has held the tag team title and was a heel throuought his career.
Rowdy Roddy Piper

Rowdy Piper was known for his amazing mic skills and was a great at being both a heel and babyface. Piper was an Intercontental and tag team champion in the WWE. Piper has held over 20 titles throughout his career, is already in the WWE Hall of Fame and recently showed his mic skills at Old School Raw.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Jake "The Snake" Roberts has never held any titles in the WWE, yet he is still considered one of the best wrestlers in the history of WWE due to his in-ring psychology. Jake is a fan favorite and feuded with some of the biggest names in the WWE. Roberts held titles in the AWA and NWA. I think he should be part of the Hall of Fame.
Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka will be forever remembered for his dive off the steel cage. He held many titles prior to his WWE run and is already a Hall of Famer.
The Undertaker

The Legendary Undertaker competed in the Royal Rumble. In 1992 Undertaker was a young wrestler that was taking the WWE by storm. Undertaker is still part of the WWE and is undefeated at WrestleMania.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage

"Macho Man" Randy Savage was one of the best workers of all time. He knew how to wrestle, and he and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat's WrestleMania match is considered one of, if not the best, matches ever. Randy Savage should be in the Hall of Fame. His career includes three WWE World championships, 1987 King of the Ring and four WCW World title runs.
Iron Shiek

The Iron Shiek is famous for being the crazy guy who made threats to Hulk Hogan. Iron Shiek is already a Hall of Famer. He was a former WWE world champion and tag champion. His feud with Hulk Hogan was popular.
Sergeant Slaughter

Sergeant Slaughter was a popular wrestler and is already in the WWE Hall of Fame. He held many titles in other promotions and become a World Champion in a feud with Hulk Hogan. Slaughter makes many current WWE appearences.
Sid Justice

Sid Justice will be in the Hall of Fame one day. He was over with the crowd and was cheered when he eliminated Hogan from the Rumble. He is a two-time Heavyweight champion with both WCW and WWE.
Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is the most famous wrestler ever. He popularized the sport in the 1980s. He was a great entertainer and always was a favorite to win the Rumble (when he was in it). He is a 12-time World Heavyweight Champion from WWE and WCW.
Ric "Nature Boy" Flair
17 of 17
Last but not least, the Nature Boy Ric Flair. He won this Royal Rumble and lasted over a hour. He is a wrestling legend and his accomplishments are remarkable. This Rumble had many Hall of Famers and the Nature Boy came out on top. The greatest of all time? You decide.
