The Georgia-South Carolina Game Will Be Decided By The Running Game

Line: UGA -7
The Georgia Bulldogs begin the meat of their schedule with a road trip to Columbia to face the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Gamecocks are coming off an upset loss on the road to Vanderbilt last Thursday.
These two teams have had some great duels over the years with Georgia getting the upper hand most of the time. However, last season South Carolina pulled a 16-12 stunner in Athens. Can they win a second year in a row?
Key to the Game
1. Establish the Ground Game
After watching the Gamecocks QB woes last week, I do not think South Carolina can effectively pass on Georgia despite what Central Michigan was able to do last week. The Gamecocks need to ride RB Mike Davis and control the ball on the ground if they want to win this one.
You will remember South Carolina won the game last year with a running game Georgia could not stop down the stretch. I think Georgia should stack the box and make Smelley and/or Beecher beat them. Make Carolina play "left-handed".
For Georgia, they need to ride the magical horse known as Knowshon Moreno. The redshirt sophomore has not been called upon this season to carry the ball a lot, but he has been very effective when doing so scoring on one out of every four carries.
This game is where a run to the BCS Championship Game really gets started. Georgia has the ability to spread the ball around to receivers and does have some depth at RB, but this is Moreno's time to shine.
Prediction
Just one key to the game? Yeah, I think this game is that simple. Whomever can control the line of scrimmage and the running game will win this one. Both teams have good defenses and neither team is great at passing. If Davis can out play Moreno then South Carolina deserves to win. I do not think he can.
