Is the Young ECW Better Than TNA?

Joe Burgett Sep 10, 2008

In my opinion the younger ECW is better than the older TNA. Why you may ask? The exploding of new young talent.

TNA has some young people, but everyone new at least that they have brought in over that last year or two has been pretty old, such as the newly acquired Mick Foley, and of course WWE, being ahead of the curve has not done that.

Over the last year alone they have brought in a ton of new exciting talent. When ECW was reintroduced, this time in the WWE, Vince McMahon decided he would make it like a training ground for his new superstars, since he didn't really have a channel to put Sunday Night Heat and Velocity on it was the best way he knew.

And in my opinion, it paid of, first with the exciting now former World Champion CM Punk, he was the first of WWE's new wave of stars, Vince loved him in Ring of Honor and brought him here, and he has had great success.

He then decided he would put some of the already known that were young in the WWE on the ECW roster to boost the talent, he did that with John Morrison, The Miz, and Bobby Lashley, and of course originals like RVD and Tommy Dreamer, and the Sandman, RVD leaving shortly after ECW's new role in WWE, he needed to boost it more.

This time through the WWE draft with Chris Benoit, but sadly Benoit killed himself and could not compete in at The Night of Champions, and John Morrison faced CM Punk instead of Benoit and won the ECW title.

But this year it has been more exciting than ever with new talent like the Jamaican me crazy Kofi Kingston, Ricky Ortiz, and the High Flying Evan Bourne, whom when you see his shooting star press he calls "AirBourne" your heart skips a beat.

It tok a while for the new ECW to work in the WWE almost two years in my opinion, but now it is better than ever and I believe a big rival to TNA, it makes sense, people go to wrestling events to be entertained, and ECW does that with new great talent that you can't wait to see.

But in TNA there is only a choice few who can do that for me and some other fans, we have already seen those wrestlersand what they can do, and there not nearly as good as they were when they were younger, like Kevin Nash for one example.

So in my opinion the NEW Extreme, is better the OLD Regime

What do you think, better exciting talent in ECW or TNA?
