Strikeforce Fedor vs. Silva Results: Dana White Gloats On Twitter

When Fedor Emelianenko lost last time to Fabricio Werdum, UFC president Dana White responded with a simple smiley face.

This time White didn't hold back.

Here's what he had to say:

"all the fedor nut huggers were so excited for 2 nites set up fight. Didn't work out and they are BUMMED!!b[sic]" - White rubbing salt into the wounded hearts of Fedor fans.

"You don't have to live the lie anymore. Get his nuts out of ur mouth now."

"M1 = M done! What did I tell you Vadummy!!" - White on M-1 Global's Vadim Finkelchtein.

"he was INCREDIBLY mismanaged!! Worst management in fight history" - White referring to M-1 Global not coming to an agreement with the UFC and signing with Strikeforce instead.

Say what you want about Dana White, but in retrospect, Fedor's choice to sign with Strikeforce instead of the UFC certainly seems like a big mistake.

M-1 Global was gambling that Fedor's success would continue in Strikeforce instead of taking a risk in a single fight with the UFC.

Two years ago, Emelianenko could have made a fortune by signing to fight Brock Lesnar in the UFC.

That offer won't be on the table now, and given his age and recent performances, it's hard to imagine Fedor recapturing the kind of momentum and mystique that he had a few short years ago.
