What Exactly Defines The Biggest Club In The World?

Beware: Dr.Sulaiman Al-Fahim's Abu Dhabi United Group is on a mission and that is to become, the World's Biggest Club, "bigger than Manchester United and Real Madrid."

Mate, do you think before you speak?

I wouldn't think so.

It's a really interesting point brought up by Dr. Al-Fahim, who is "ten times richer then he (Abramovich) will ever be."

If he's up for it, he can buy the whole god damn Premier League, leave out Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and a couple of other clubs and Dr. Al-Fahim (or his closest mates), who I doubt is a brain-related doctor can buy the whole league but the Premier League wouldn't let him do so.

A sigh of relief!

I'm more interested in his ambitions, it's one thing to be optimistic and it's completely another thing to lose your mind.

What exactly defines the 'Biggest Club in the World?'

• Does it depend on the size of their fan-base? (Fiorentina has more fans than Chelsea, according to an internationally conducted survey in November 2007)
• Is it more about the number of trophies that have been won? (Uzbekistan's Yuhtofil FC has won the league 49 times, Real Madrid and Manchester United - who's your daddy?
• Is it the number of shirts your club can sell? (Newcastle United sells more shirts than Juventus in a month)
• Is it the number of 'BIG' players your club has (AC Milan - Kaka, Ronaldinho, Shevchenko. Man Utd - Berbatov, Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez)

Perhaps, the second point is a bit ridiculous and/or obnoxious but I'd like to see how you interpret it.

I'm not going to jump to any conclusion, I'm leaving it to you.
