NFL Playoff Scenarios: Saints Vs. Falcons and the Top Potential Playoff Matchups
The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints end 2010 Monday Night Football on a high note as both of these teams fight for positioning in this year's NFL playoffs.
This NFC South rivalry is one that I would like to see be continued in the playoffs. However, what other matchups do the fans and the media want to see?
Here are the best potential matchups we may see in 2010 NFL playoffs.

New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts

Am I the only one that wants to see the Jets-Colts matchup renewed in this year's postseason? There is a chance of it happening, and it could be another good game between two good teams.
The Jets offense has improved this year with the addition of Santonio Holmes and the play of Mark Sanchez. However, Peyton Manning has continued to lead the Colts back to the postseason despite injuries on both sides of the ball.
Would Rex Ryan's defense put it together in time to stop Peyton Manning? It would be a matchup worth watching for sure.
Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears
2 of 8
Packers-Bears Part three anyone? Who wouldn't want to see this one? We could witness a cold weather game that could be possibly filled with plenty of snow.
Aaron Rodgers could potentially lead his team to an NFC title if these teams were able to meet in the NFC title game.
Julius Peppers, Brian Urlacker and company sure would have something to say about that.
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
3 of 8
Based on the likely seeding in the AFC, football fans could get to see the Jets-Patriots matchup for a third time.
This time it may live up to the expectations it did on the hopeful Monday night showdown. Both teams are built for December in different ways ( Patriots with Brady, Jets with running game).
The Jets would love to seek revenge against the Patriots after being embarrassed on Monday Night Football a few weeks ago.
Trash talk and physicality would be at its highest point for these teams if they play each other again in the postseason.
Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots
4 of 8
Could we see another playoff game involving the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots? This game is beginning to become a rivalry in the NFL, with the hatred involving Tom Brady, Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs.
The Patriots have sneaked past the Ravens both times in the regular season, but Baltimore took out New England last week in the playoffs.
I would be interested in seeing a rematch in the playoffs between the Ravens and the Patriots.
Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots

Are this year's NFL playoffs ready for another Brady-Manning showdown? I sure am.
The Colts and Pats put on a show in Foxborough earlier in the year, and this rivalry has dealt with many postseason meetings in the past.
Both quarterbacks try to improve their stature as Hall of Famers as this game could possibly result in who represents the AFC in this year's title game.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Atlanta Falcons

What an emotional game it would be if Michael Vick returned to Atlanta in this year's playoffs.
Vick leads a high flying Eagles offense, and there is a good shot, if both teams win out, they will meet in the NFC Championship game.
The storylines that would be involved with Vick and the Falcons would be enormous if they meet in the postseason.
Would No. 7 break his old fans' hearts in Atlanta, or would Matt Ryan lead his team to a Super Bowl title?
New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons
7 of 8
The Atlanta Falcons-New Orleans Saints matchup has proved to be a classic this season.
Both games were decided by a combined total of six points, with both teams splitting the series.
Who wouldn't want to see these teams face each other one more time?
The hostility started getting high during the game, and the anticipation of a third game between these two teams would spark a lot of excitement in this year's playoffs.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
8 of 8
Arguably the best rivalry in football today, every football fan would love to see the Ravens and Steelers meet each other one more time.
Both teams split the regular season meeting and has dealt with a history of meeting in the playoffs.
There isn't a game that can be any better than a smash mouth, dominant-defense type of game in the month of January that the Ravens and Steelers could provide.
