Ready...Set...Go: Cowboys off to Hot Start
I'll never forget watching the Dallas Cowboys as a child as they brought home three Super Bowl rings in the 90's. Who could forget the stars such as Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin.
I even pulled out my old raggedy Emmitt Smith Jersey that I wore in the fifth grade last week against the Browns. Yea it may have suctioned around my much larger body, but I was ready to watch greatness.
In watching the Cowboys last Sunday I saw the three greats of the 90's in action. Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, and Marion Barber took the field not just with strength and skill, but with heart. You could see the passion they have for the game through the way they play. Could this finally be the year the Boys get back their Super Bowl winning ways?

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ready, Set, Go, as T.O prepared for his celebration after a Usain Bolt like dash passed the Browns secondary for a 35 yard strike from Tony Romo. Romo started the game nine of nine passing and looked sharper than a No. 2 pencil.
With Marion Barber and Felix Jones in the backfield, the cowboys seem to be unstoppable on the ground and in the air. This game could have gone 42-10 if Romo didn't insist on padding stats for Owens, and they could have put the ball in the endzone on an impressive last drive to keep the clock running.
Did I mention 30 first downs??? The offense cannot be stopped. The Brown's have the talent to win 10 games again this season as well.
Let's talk Marion Barber. Have you ever seen anyone run as hard as this man does? Please tell me who because I have never seen a running back like Barber. Rarely does he take the option of running out of bounds and giving up on a play. He may not have the quickness and speed of LT and Adrian Peterson, but he runs with heart.
That's probably why he broke his ribs late in the game. I think I would rather be trucked by a bull than by Marion Barber.
Before the season started I pictured the Cowboys making the Super Bowl but falling short to Tom Brady and the Patriots. What are the chances Tom Brady goes down in week one and now all I have to worry about is Cassell.
My heart goes to Tom Brady and the Patriots. No one wants to see an injury like this for anyone, but what we do want to see is someone other than the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
This team is full of Pro Bowl talent, leadership, and ex-con's. Haha Just Kidding. Mad props to Jerry Jones though for getting Pacman and Tank back on track. With the talent this team has, there is no reason why they can't win the Super Bowl. Unless Romo want to ruin it again.
The defensive looks great in adding Zac Thomas to the mix along with Adam Jones. The Brown's have a great offense with Braylon Edwards, Stallworth, and Winslow in the receiving core. For Dallas to shut the Brown's Offense down like they did shows how ready this team is to take it all the way.
I love telling my friends that Dallas is going to go 16-0. Ok so I like to dream a little. I'm predicting 13-3 or 14-2 being that the NFC East is tough this year. One loss to the Giants, and one to the Steelers. It's going to be tough to take down Dallas with the talent they possess. If they can pull it together in the playoff's America's team will be back at the top.
We'll see a real test for the Defense next week against a healthy McNabb. All I know is the Cowboy's are playing good and having fun doing it. Even if they are squirting each other with water on the field, they know when it's game time.
You can definitely see team unity in watching there new HBO series Hard Knocks....Which is great by the way. If the Cowboy's play their cards right, their bringing home that trophy not just for them, but for their fan's, and Ms. Price. How Bout Dem Cowboys!
