WWE's Christmas Present To Us? 10 Things the IWC Loves in WWE Right Now!
2010 was an odd year in pro wrestling. TNA failed to deliver, as did WWE (at times). We have seen some sad departures (MVP, Kaval, Daniels, Awesome Kong) and some even sadder deaths.
Here is a quick question for you:
What will happen in 2010?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
No one can answer that for certain but we do know that we can take some estimates based on what we have seen on WWE television recently.
Here is one last quick question:
What can the WWE provide that will make us content as the festive season reaches a climax?
Let us have a look at some great things currently happening in the WWE that leave us all very happy!
10. WWE Seems to be Cleaning Up Their Divas Division Bit by Bit
What has happened that makes me think that may be true?
(i) Melina showing signs of returning heel.
This is what everyone wants the "A-Lister" to do. She was awesome as a heel and if that slip is an indication of a heel turn then we are all in for some amazing television in the upcoming weeks.
Melina vs. Natalya will show the true talent in the division that people think it lacks, which in fact it does not.
(ii) Natalya winning the title.
Obviously for so many reasons, this title win was epic but it was the first sign that WWE has finally gotten wiser.
Natalya is a deserving Champion and I love the way she won, WWE kept stalling her winning and that made it look like she wanted it even more after continuously being cheated out by "Lay-Cool".
Natalya has an unnatural body, perfect pretty looks and brilliant in-ring skills.
(iii) Beth Phoenix returning
This was something a lot of us were looking very forward to, including myself and I am over the moon she is finally back!
Natalya and Beth Phoenix are very similar in many ways and I am delighted the WWE has made them allies for the meantime and hopefully at WrestleMania we will get to see the "Stratus and Lita" of this generation in a blockbuster match.
9. Dolph Ziggler Upping His Profile in a Mini-feud Vs. John Cena
At this stage now I strongly believe Ziggler can hold his own in matches against the WWE's main eventers.
Ziggler has put on strong feuds against the likes of John Morrison and Kofi Kingston. In these feuds he has proved that one day and probably one day very soon he will dominate WWE's main event scene!
Ziggler and Cena put on an excellent match and Ziggler has done that in the past against Kane, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kofi Kingston, MVP, Batista, John Morrison and Rey Mysterio.
Ziggler's matches against the bigger guys have been at a great pace, entertaining and based on pure skill, especially his ones against Edge and Cena.
WWE placing Ziggler in a mini-feud with John Cena (WWE's top star of the era) is the exact same thing they did with The Miz, and look where he is now?
8. Daniel Bryan Remaining 100 Percent Solid in His Strong Title Reign
Ever since turning up on the WWE's doorstep months ago Bryan has put on excellent matches against the likes of Chris Jericho (Week Two, NXT Season 1), William Regal, Edge and of course The Miz.
Bryan is going into the New Year as strong as an ox, he deserves this reign and I do believe that he will be victorious in capturing a World title and main event WrestleMania.
Another thing brilliant about Daniel at the moment is the fact that WWE seems to be allowing his personality to expand with the beautiful duo of the Bella Twins still in his corner—he may be a geek as Cole would say but he is a damn lucky one!
Every athlete's character on the roster deserves to have some sort of personality and Bryan's seems to be going pretty okay for the meantime.
7. John Morrison is the No. 1 Contender for the Biggest Prize in Sports Entertainment
I have recently posted an article on this and to read it please click on the link below, Thank You!
There are three guys in the WWE that 70 percent of the IWC adores, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and JOHN MORRISON.
In TNA they're also three guys—AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan (Haha just kidding). The final one in TNA would probably have to be Ken Anderson or maybe the Pope!
John Morrison is one of WWE's biggest talents and he is definitely getting what he deserves after years of waiting.
Let us just hope Morrison takes extreme advantage of the current situation and it should be exciting to see how it transpires. In my mind, Morrison will not leave the Royal Rumble as WWE Champion!
6. Orton Made Arquette Look an Even Bigger Idiot
I was begging for a punt but what I got gave me some equal satisfaction.
Months ago in an article I predicted that WWE would bring back David Arquette and I was not wrong.
I love the way King and CM Punk were totally against him and Michael Cole was hyping him up non-stop. This really allows the rift between King and Cole to continue and I am loving it.
David Arquette returning to our screens in a wrestling ring just represents everything that is wrong about WWE's guest host BS.
It is just a way for washed up and lame stars to get a little bit more attention.
David Arquette is one of the most hated men ever in the long history of WWE/WWF/WCW and I am glad Orton demolished him like he was nothing with a powerbomb!
5. Edge is World Champion
We have all been dying to say that for the last year or so.
Edge is a loyal, skilled, passionate and entertaining performer.
On the mic he is one of the most consistent speakers ever...he convinces you with all that he says. As we saw earlier this year in a match vs. the Great Khali he has a great sense of humour.
There are many actors in the WWE that suck—Ted DiBiase, Kane, the Big Show, Cena and more but I firmly believe if WWE gave him the opportunity he would shine with the cameras on as he does every Friday night.
Edge should hopefully hold the title until Christian returns as a heel and TAKES it from him but that is a bit unlikely so i'm guessing Alberto Del Rio will claim gold next when he is done with Rey.
But for the mean time Edge is our champion and I could not be any happier about that.
4. Triple H Still Has Not Made a Return
I am a huge Trips fan so obviously I am not very content about this fact but well over 50 percent of the Internet Wrestling Community dislikes "The Game".
Triple H was taken out by Sheamus almost a year ago at Extreme Rules and has yet to return from injuries suffered at the hands of the Celtic Warrior.
Triple H will return at the Elimination Chamber I think and will cost Sheamus the title, as I think he will be one of the final two. I cannot see Miz walking into WrestleMania with the title and HHH is well known for his greatness inside cages so maybe he will add to that legacy by gaining some revenge on the ginger headed Sheamus.
3. WrestleMania is Looking Good and We Are Still Months Away
I am going to give my prediction of what the match card is shaping up to be and explain why I think so.
CM Punk vs. John Cena - This match would be amazing. It is like the IWC vs. the WWE Universe as both are loved by each group. Punk is getting a bit "pissed" with John's behaviour recently and the attack with the chair will probably set up a feud to be remembered.
Sheamus vs. Triple H (No Holds Barred) - This match will be definite if we do not see Triple H until the Elimination Chamber PPV as we all know the bad blood between each man.
Christian vs. Edge - Christian and Edge were roaring at each other a couple of months ago on SmackDown and then the following Monday, Christian was beaten by the Rated-R Superstar. I think it is just a matter of time before this one kicks off and now that Edge is face it will be interesting to see if Christian will be face or heel.
If my predictions work out then that makes three good matches and that is without taking other talented stars into account.
And by the above sentence I was referring to the likes of Kane, Undertaker, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Miz, Morrison, Randy Orton and more.
2. The Rumble is the Next PPV and It Is Very Unpredictable
The Royal Rumble is an amazing event that is enjoyed by the young and old.
Who can win the Rumble?
John Cena - He is a favourite for everything in WWE except redundancy and considering it will take place he has got to be odds-on favourite.
Wade Barrett - Possible, although unlikely, the same can also be said about the likes of Mysterio, Orton, Kane, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Swagger.
Undertaker, Christian, Triple H and CM Punk must also be considered as favourites considering that a returning stars have won it in the past.
The Miz vs. Morrison is always an interesting debate and it is definitely going to be an interesting encounter to say the least.
Melina and Natalya are two sexy, powerful and talented Divas and their meeting should be intense.
I really am as excited as could be as the Rumble approaches.
1. CM Punk Is Back to His Old Ways
He is obviously not 100 percent match fit but the fact of the matter is he must be at least 70 percent fit or WWE would not be including him in storylines. As long as he make a speedy recovery in time for WrestleMania, you all reading this will be very happy!
Punk is the most versatile star I have ever met.
He has mic skills and in-ring skills. He can play face or heel, is a great commentator and is extremely entertaining. He is the Chris Jericho of the next era.
John Cena has been dealing with Sheamus, Orton and Nexus for six months now and while seeing him in the ring with Ziggler was brilliant, seeing him face Punk would be far better.
Cena has approved in my opinion and I am really starting to like him as of late, I was a huge hater ever since 2006/2007.
CM Punk and John Cena will hopefully main event 'Mania and put on an awesome showdown out of respect for what Shawn and Taker have done the past two years.
Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a brilliant New Year!
