Atlanta Falcons: Roddy White Eyes Franchise Records in a Career Year
Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver Roddy White became the third player in franchise history to catch 100 passes in a season with his seven catches against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15.
As the Falcons roll into a Monday night showdown with the New Orleans Saints, White is eying a couple of Falcons all-time records.
White is just six catches and 99 yards away from the Falcons' single-season records, a feat he could accomplish Monday. Terrence Mathis holds the single-season record for receptions with 111.

His 106 catches are a career-high and 2010 marks the fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season for the six-year pro. He is three touchdowns away from his career-high of 11 from 2009 and 98 yards away from his career-high 1,382 yards, the current Falcons single-season record.
White may be in the news this week for Twitter wars and off-the-field banter, but on the field, he’s heard loud and clear as one of the top receiving threats in the league, leading the league in receptions and yards.
The Falcons have an opportunity to clinch the NFC South and a top seed in the NFC playoffs when the Saints visit the Georgia Dome Monday night, where the Falcons are practically unbeatable.
Expect Roddy White to be in top form.
