Brett Favre is one of many athletes to be accused or convicted of a crazy sexual escapade.
Due to their public image, athletes are prominently displayed in the public spotlight and they are the focus of constant news chatter.
Everything from extramarital affairs to rape have rocked the sports world and they certainly won't be stopping anytime soon.
So, what sexual escapades have been the wildest of the group?
20. Michael Vick A.k.a. Ron Mexico

In March of 2005, Michael Vick was sued by Sonya Elliot, claiming that she contracted genital herpes from him several years earlier and failed to tell her about his venereal disease.
Elliot claimed that Vick checked into a clinic under the name Ron Mexico in order to be anonymously screened, and therefore knew about the herpes.
A No. 7 Atlanta Falcons jersey with the name "Mexico" plastered on the back became a hot item at the time of the incident.
19. Richard Seigler Big Pimpin'

Richard Seigler was fresh off a Super Bowl victory with the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was arrested for being linked to a prostitution ring in Las Vegas.
He was acquitted of the charges due to lack of evidence, but the damage was done.
Seigler was released from the Steelers and never made it back to the NFL.
18. Isiah Thomas...Surprises No One

As if Isiah Thomas' image wasn't bad enough, he made headlines when Anucha Browne Sanders—former New York Knicks executive—accused Thomas of sexual harassment.
In 2007, a jury determined that Thomas harassed and made sexual advances toward Sanders.
MSG was ordered to pay $11.6 million to Sanders after the ruling.

17. Pat O'Brien Likes to Drunk Dial

Pat O'Brien did everything from CBS Sports, entertainment news, Fox Sports Radio and even covered the Olympics.
He had an instantly recognizable voice, which made things easy for the general public when a string of voicemails made its rounds.
O'Brien, apparently drunk and very aroused, recorded sexually graphic and vulgar messages on a woman's voicemail inbox.
Coincidentally, these voicemails made its way to the public spotlight when he was in rehab for alcoholism.
16. Rex Ryan and the Curious Case of the Foot Fetish

Rex Ryan usually finds himself in the public spotlight for his potty mouth, but he made headlines just yesterday for the oddest of circumstances.
A video made its way to Deadspin.com featuring someone who was a dead ringer for Ryan's wife, Michelle. The video prominently displays the woman's feet and the cameraman happens to sound just like Rex.
To make matters worse, when reporters asked Ryan about the video in a press conference, he dismissed them saying it was a "personal matter."
15. Alex Rodriguez Has Good Taste

Alex Rodriguez has been linked in numerous extramarital affairs, but the one that sticks out the most is his brief affair with Madonna.
It was first reported just after his then wife, Cynthia, gave birth to their second daughter.
She filed for divorce from Rodriguez in 2008.
Listen, I understand that Madonna is or was a big-time pop star, but she's gross. She was in her late forties and possibly early fifties at the time of the affair, and what did he ever see in her?

Eugene Robinson is a former free safety in the NFL.
While playing with the Atlanta Falcons during the 1998-99 NFL season, he helped the team reach Super Bowl XXXIII.
The morning before the big game, he was awarded the Bart Starr Award for high moral character by the group, Athletes in Action.
Well, to celebrate his high moral character, he decided to get an oral makeover for his award. He was arrested for soliciting a female undercover cop to give him oral sex for $40.
Apparently, the short period he was detained ruined his focus the next day. Robinson gave up two big plays to the Denver Broncos and the Falcons ended up losing by two touchdowns.

Jones was in an 18-month affair with a Hooters' waitress—don't worry, she was one of the classy ones—when they had a child together out of wedlock.
Jones eventually divorced his first wife and married the waitress.
That's a class act right there. He did the right thing marrying the mistress he just knocked up. It sent a positive message to the young kids out there who looked up to him.

Brett Favre made headlines this year not for coming out of retirement, but for reportedly trying to seduce Jenn Sterger—then a Jets sideline reporter—while he was under center for New York.
Apparently, Favre sent Sterger nude pictures of himself and left her very "friendly" messages.
The incident is still under investigation and Favre is in for a wild ride if there is any basis to these claims.

Rick Pitino should really thank Tiger Woods. The Woods scandal helped put Pitino's own scandal on the backburner while Woods took the heat.
In 2009, Pitino announced that he was being extorted by Karen Sypher.
Apparently, Pitino knocked up Sypher after having unprotected sex in a Louisville restaurant. An encounter that lasted all but 15 seconds.
Those 15 seconds of shame will live in infamy.

He started a 10-year affair with country singer Mindy McCready when she was 15. McCready claims that they didn't have sex until she was legal, but who really believes that?
The timing couldn't be worse as he was on trial for using performance enhancing drugs.
Coincidentally, McCready claimed that Clemens had trouble getting his bat up. Maybe he was taking the wrong kind of drugs.

The story of Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich is one of the oddest in sports history.
Both were left-handed pitchers for the New York Yankees at the time, and they decided to play a little GM on their own.
The trade netted Kekich Peterson's wife, Marilyn, and their two kids, while Peterson received in return Kekich's wife, Susanne, and their two kids.
From the looks of it, a pretty fair trade to me.

Reports slowly started to creep out that this was the result of his wife discovering the first of many mistresses that he had, and I mean many.

From porn stars to strippers, Woods was apparently working the back nine with so many women, there had to be a database to keep up with all of them.
Woods lost his wife and he went to sex rehab, and is just beginning to recoup his public image.

To put that in perspective, he would have to have sex with a different woman every single day of the year for at least 54 years to accomplish it.
Chances are that he was far off from such a feat, but he stuck with that figure.
Nonetheless, even a fraction of that figure is impressive.
6. Lawrence Taylor Likes 'em Young

Lawrence Taylor is not in the news for a drug-related crime, but he's facing charges of raping a 16-year-old prostitute.
He was indicted in June for two felony counts and three misdemeanor charges.
Taylor supposedly paid the teen $300 for sex.
The case is still ongoing and he could go to jail for four years if found guilty.
5. Duke Lacrosse Sex Scandal

Members of the Duke men's lacrosse team held a bachelor party and invited two strippers to help make a memorable night, and boy did they ever.
Instead of having an intimate gathering of a half dozen or so players, it ballooned into dozens of drunken team members with bad intentions on their minds.
The strippers accused the players of essentially gang raping them.
While the Duke players were ultimately acquitted of their crimes, the damage was done and the public had their opinions.
4. Colorado Kobe

Kobe Bryant's image took a dive in 2003 when he was arrested in Eagle, Colorado.
An employee at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera hotel, Katelyn Faber, accused Bryant of raping her in his hotel room.
Bryant admitted to the adulterous affair, but denied the sexual assault allegation.
Vanessa Bryant had one big rock—worth $4 million—on her finger at the press conference. That's one expensive apology.
Do you think Kobe still had to sleep on the couch after that? Or was he allowed to choose from one of a dozen extra rooms in his mansion?
3. Mike Tyson

In 1992, he was convicted of raping Desiree Washington—Miss Black Rhode Island—in an Indianapolis hotel room.
Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison, but was released in three on parole.
I'm assuming he learned to go for the ears by a fellow prison inmate.
2. Marv Albert Says Yes to Sodomy
