Rex Ryan Foot: There's Smoke Here, and Likely Foot Fire for Sexy Rexy

Rex Ryan, head coach of the New York Jets, may be into some wild and crazy stuff. That is, if you can classify feet as wild or crazy.

Deadspin is reporting that the wife of Rex Ryan, Michelle Ryan, may in fact be the YouTube user and video uploader "ihaveprettyfeet." It seems that "ihaveprettyfeet" loves her feet more than a podiatrist would. She has uploaded videos with herself in stockings, in shoes and in, dare I say, bare feet.

But the news is not that there are some slightly odd YouTube videos out there. Anytime I am on the site, I can be assured to witness any number of social and human atrocities. 

The story here is that "ihaveprettyfeet" could very well be Rex Ryan's wife. The video shows "ihaveprettyfeet" alone in a car relaxing. To her surprise, a passerby with a camera stops to say hello. The cameraman, who sounds a whole lot like Rex Ryan, admires the lady's feet and even asks to smell them.

That is something you never did in my household, for fear of passing out. 

Deadspin has also unearthed some other juicy tidbits. There is a profile for "ihaveprettyfeet" on a foot-fetish dating site. The information gleaned there is too coincidental not to be true.

Among the interesting facts are the following: The user proclaims her city to be Ellicot, Maryland, the same city the Ryans lived in while Rex worked for the Ravens. The "ihaveprettyfeet" profile states that she is a Virgo, just like Michelle. Also, both profiles proclaim to have graduate degrees. Not to mention the spitting image. 

After all this, it would behoove Rex Ryan to take to the podium and say, "Yes, my wife is Michelle Ryan, and she has very pretty feet."

It should actually come as a great comfort to the normal citizenry to know that people on television and in positions of power enjoy normal, everyday oddities. While I in no way condone foot fetishes, as I find feet reprehensible and a little silly, I do, however, have my own peccadilloes. Actually, no I don't, I am perfect. But the great part of America does. 

So this should make the Jets first family more endearing.

The Ryans should not run from this story. They need to embrace it. The Sporting News is reporting that Rex Ryan recently stated that this story is a “personal matter.” That is all fine and good, Sexy Rexy, but why then post your lurid tales of foot fantasy on YouTube?

Someone should tell him that there are quite a few of us that frequent that site. 

But if the couple plays their cards correctly, they can spin this thing into a whole new revenue stream. Imagine shoe commercials, sock ads and the like. Odor Eaters should have Rex and Michelle on speed dial. They could even have a giant blimp in the shape of a foot go over the Super Bowl.

In a sense, this is a fun story of one man and his wife enjoying each other. It would be great if more couples did just that. But leave out the feet—they are vile and should be covered at all times.
