Super Bowl Predictions: How Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles Win It All
It's that time of the year. The holidays are in full swing, and the NFL postseason is waiting to be unwrapped.
With still two weeks remaining in the season, this guy is bold enough to present to you, the NFL fan, the road the Philadelphia Eagles will travel on their way to a Super Bowl title.
Here you will see how the Eagles finish the regular season, who they meet in the playoffs and beat for the Lombardi Trophy, and even which Eagle wins Super Bowl MVP.
Week 16: Minnesota Vikings
1 of 5
The Eagles will get a good look at rookie Joe Webb on Sunday night when they take on the Minnesota Vikings.
Philly will be at home for this one and will certainly be favored by the odds makers. At 5-9 the Vikings haven't been threatening in a few weeks and will likely present a very small challenge for Philadelphia.
Eagles win and improve to 11-4 on the season.
Week 17: Dallas Cowboys
2 of 5
The Eagles will end their regular season at home against division rival Dallas on Sunday, January 2, 2011. Dallas has won four out of six and is playing spoiler ever since starting the season 1-7.
Philly struggled early against the Cowboys two weeks ago in Dallas, but in the end it was too much Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy, and the Eagles won by a field goal.
This game should be a close one, but I still like the Eagles at home. They finish 12-4 and winners of the NFC East.
NFC Divisional Playoffs: Chicago Bears
3 of 5
The Eagles, at 12-4, win the NFC East division as well as earn a first round bye in the NFC playoffs. In their first 2011 postseason game they will host the NFC North champion Chicago Bears (who defeated Green Bay in the wild card).
Philadelphia will look to get a little payback for a loss they suffered in Chicago back in Week 12. Michael Vick and the Eagles offense struggle early on against the talented Bears defense. However, Jay Cutler's lack of playoff experience quickly comes back to bite the Bears.
The Eagles' playmakers do just that, and Philly rides high right into the NFC Championship Game.

NFC Championship Game: New Orleans Saints
4 of 5
After the Atlanta Falcons fall in the Georgia Dome to division rival New Orleans, it's the wild card Saints who come marching into Lincoln Financial Field on championship Sunday.
New Orleans' offense presents a difficult matchup for the Philly defense in this game. Drew Brees, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, has a solid day through the air but is just short of spectacular.
However, this game becomes the one where Michael Vick's experience and steady hand at quarterback prove clutch. Vick will be key for the Eagles as he manages to lead the offense to a turnover-free day, which in turn keeps the Saints' defense on the field for far too long.
Philadelphia wins, and it's on to Super Bowl XLV.

Super Bowl XLV: New England Patriots
5 of 5
The New England Patriots take advantage of home field throughout the AFC playoffs and win the conference, thus setting up a rematch of 2005's Super Bowl XXXIX, when the Patriots beat the Eagles in Jacksonville, Florida.
This time around, however, things are much different. The Pats' young and inexperienced defense looks the part on the game's biggest stage when they fail to contain Michael Vick and the Eagles' explosive air and ground attacks.
The Eagles' defense continues its consistent bend but don't break mentality and turns Tom Brady over at a key point in the game (similarly to Peyton Manning against New Orleans last year).
Add it all up, and what do you get? The Lombardi Trophy resides in Eastern Pennsylvania in 2011, and the Eagles are world champions.
Philadelphia 34 New England 28 (Super Bowl MVP: DeSean Jackson)
