Patriots-Chiefs: Tom Brady and Brodie Croyle Knocked Out of Game
Tom Brady and Brodie Croyle both got knocked out of the Chiefs-Patriots game. In the first quarter of the game, while throwing a deep pass to Randy Moss, safety Bernard Pollard rolled into Brady's left leg.
While holding his left knee, he stayed on the ground for a while. He ended up needing help as he limped off the field. It doesn't look good for Brady, as news reports out of New England say that he is done for the season.
Matt Cassel took over for Brady and on his first drive he led the team on a 98-yard scoring drive, throwing a 10-yard touchdown pass to Randy Moss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With his team down 3-10, Brodie Croyle left Sunday's game late in the third quarter with a bruised shoulder and was taken to the locker room for evaluation. Reports out of Kansas City are that he could miss a few weeks.
Huard took over for Croyle, and on his first drive, he threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe. Cassel would lead the team on another scoring drive, culminating with Sammy Morris scoring on a five-yard touchdown run.
After a Patriots field goal, Huard would have one last drive to tie the game up. With 1:09 remaining, the Chiefs were down 17-10, and Huard would find Devan Darling for a 68-yard reception to the five-yard line.
Huard and the Chiefs would have four tries to tie the game up. On first down Dwayne Bowe dropped what seemed to be an easy touchdown catch. On the next three downs the Patriots' great red-zone defense wouldn't budge and the game ended when Huard's 4th-down pass to Bowe went incomplete.
Two backups with very different stories showed that they are very capable quarterbacks.
Cassel showed everyone that he has a lot of potential. If Brady is done for the season, he might be able to keep the Patriots as legitimate contenders.
Damon Huard, on the other hand, showed everyone that he still should be the starter for the Chiefs. (Read this article about Huard that I wrote before the season.)
Although it doesn't look good for Brady and Croyle, we did get to watch two great backups battle it out 'til the end.
