Asking Eagles Fans: What Was Your Reaction To The DeSean Jackson Miracle?

The Question:

What was your reaction to the Miracle at the New Meadowlands?

The Answer:

Me: For most of the game, I was angry. I was furious. I was absolutely crushed. I was already planning out all the "We're not a playoff team, let alone a Super Bowl team" articles I would write. Then it happened. I didn't even celebrate on Brent Celek's touchdown, but the onside kick got me fired up. I have never in my life seen a single player put a team on his back like Michael Vick did. He was Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky rolled into one.

DeSean Jackson's walk-off punt return touchdown was the second happiest moment of my life, trailing the 2008 World Championship for the Philadelphia Phillies. It was just so unexpected and improbable. I screamed my head off. I was so happy I couldn't even write my weekly postgame articles. I have watched the replay countless times in the past day. I have never seen a game or an ending like that. I don't know if I will ever have a better regular season Eagles moment for the rest of my life. This was like a dream. Literally a dream.
