Philadelphia Eagles Monday Morning Madness: Oh 'Em G-Men
The Miracle at the NEW Meadowlands.
It's not the Miracle at the Meadowlands II, III, or IV. The Philadelphia Eagles performed this miracle at NEW Meadowlands Stadium.
Just thought I'd get that out of the way since it has been bothering me for a few hours now.
Now on to the cool stuff.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
WOW, what in the hell did we all just witness? Whatever it was, it caused me to break a couch leg and perform the dougie. (Wasn't quite as good as John Wall's, though)
All kidding aside, this was the best sporting event that I have ever witnessed in my short life of 19 years. As great as this game was, it wasn't very pretty. The Eagles played an absolutely horrible first half while the New York Giants looked like a well-oiled machine. Eli Manning was lighting it up and the Birds' secondary was getting torched more than a piece of steel.
Then, as if on cue, the roles were reversed.
Eli Manning put on his baby face and head coach Tom Coughlin strapped on his Santa cheeks.
The Eagles were converting big play after big play and the Giants were absolutely allowing it. The key turning point in the game had to have been David Akers' amazing onside kick and subsequent conversion by Riley Cooper. This play changed the tide of the game.
When it started to look like the Giants were ending the Eagles' bid for a miracle, Michael Vick ran for 33 yards from his own 12-yard line to pick up the first down and then some. Right then and there, people knew something insane was about to go down. Vick ended up scoring on that drive to tie the football game.
Then we all know what happened after that.
This is going to be an odd Monday Morning Madness because we all know what did and didn't happen but I would still like to point out a few observations:
-Nate Allen tore his patellar tendon and is likely out for the season. Rookie Kurt Coleman will get the start at FS.
-The Eagles were deploying a seven defensive-back formation all game up until Allen was injured. I hope they don't pull that crap again because it didn't work out at all.
-David Akers has about a 50 percent efficiency rating on onside kicks which is...um....great!
-LeSean McCoy was almost a non-factor, which was surprising.
-Michael Vick and the Eagles' offense AND defense came up clutch in the fourth quarter yet again.
Until next time folks, stay classy and be great. Next up, the Minnesota Vikings.
