Fantasy Football Week 15: Last Minute Sleepers to Help Win Your Matchup

Ethan NorofDec 19, 2010

The fantasy football playoffs are in full swing and a win in Week 15 means a trip to the coveted championship game.

With so many injuries around the NFL, owners are finding themselves in some serious binds in the most pivotal time of the season.

Aaron Rodgers is out, Tim Tebow is making his first NFL start and the Vikings have a wide receiver starting at quarterback tomorrow night in rookie Joe Webb.

Randy Moss can't even be trusted against the Houston secondary and owners of Miles Austin, Chad Ochocinco and Brandon Marshall are looking for some way to garner production out of the underachieving studs.

So who can you find on the fantasy football waiver wire and expect a solid contribution from?

Just keep on reading to find out.

Jason Campbell, QB Oakland Raiders

Believe me, I know. He's fragile, he's crusty, he's an underachiever.

There are a long list of unfriendly adjectives that one could use to describe Campbell, but the fact of the matter is that he just might surprise owners in a very big way.

Taking the field against a horrendous Broncos defense that just gave up 43 points to a pathetic Arizona Cardinals offense, as long as Darren McFadden can find holes to run through, Campbell will have plenty of room to throw the rock all game long.

He posted 324 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville last week, so we know he's capable of producing.

Davone Bess, WR Miami Dolphins

This one is especially for those Brandon Marshall owners. After getting shut out last week by Revis Island, Bess will look to get back on track against Buffalo in Week 15.

QB Chad Henne has proved incapable of using his big arm to accomplish anything, becoming somewhat of a game manager instead.

While Henne will be looking to move the chains on third and short all game, Bess will do his best to get open on crossing routes over the middle and exploit the secondary all afternoon.

He's especially valuable in PPR leagues, as he's a threat for eight plus catches.

Rashad Jennings, RB Jacksonville Jaguars

With the Jaguars having the chance to clinch the division with a win against the Colts this week, Jacksonville is going to pull out all the stops to get it done.

That includes unleashing all secret weapons and although Jennings is no longer clandestine, he's still very threatening.

With touchdowns in three straight weeks (and double digit fantasy points to boot), it's clear that the Liberty product has become integral in the offensive attack.

Although MJD will obviously get the bulk of the work, look for Jennings to get some goal-line work and find his way into the end zone yet again, in what should be a very high scoring affair.

Owen Daniels, TE Houston Texans

He's probably still not 100 percent, but frankly it doesn't matter at this point. With an already thin tight end position getting substantially thinner with Antonio Gates, Jermichael Finley and Dallas Clark all shelved, it's clear that owners are scrambling for anyone capable of producing more than just a couple of points.

Although he goes against a stout Tennessee defense, the Texans will be looking to air it out all afternoon as they give it one last effort to somehow sneak into the playoff picture.

Daniels could very well find his way into the end zone for the first time all season.
