Sir Alex Ferguson compared Chicharito Hernandez to Denis Law. A similar comparison is happening in Mexico.

Jorge Vergara, who is the President of Chivas of Guadalajara, is comparing Chicharito Hernandez with a rising star whose name is Erick Torres.

The time has come to review certain aspects of the career of the two players from Chivas of Guadalajara.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has been a regular fixture as a forward with Chivas of Guadalajara before signing with Manchester United in the Summer of 2010.

His family have been playing for Chivas of Guadalajara and he has made his mark with goals for the team. One of the historical moments was his participation in Chivas of Guadalajara's victory over Necaxa.

He also participated in the games of the Mexican National Soccer team with victories over rivals such as Bolivia, North Korea and New Zealand.

The greatest moment for Hernandez was when he played for Mexico in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He participated in his team's historic victory over France.

Since his arrival with Manchester United, his popularity has soared with four goals within 10 games on 23 shots.

He has been the subject of admiration in Old Trafford and has a song in his honor.

According to Jorge Vergara, Erick Torres has the similar taste in being able to detect a potential goal.

He has been able to rise through the rank and file of the Chivas of Guadalajara U-17 group as a captain as well as forward.

Torres participated in Guadalajara's game against Monterrey. The result of that game was a 3-2 victory in favor of Guadalajara.

He did not score any goals in this game but was outstanding when it came to offense and defense

While people love to make comparisons, Torres is only beginning with Chivas of Guadalajara while Hernandez has already advanced at the English League.

Only time will tell if Torres will be able to advance. He will be worth watching in the future.
