God, I'm A Moron For Starting Vincent Jackson, And Other Fantasy Playoff Advice
Yes, I had the chutzpah to pick up the unowned Vincent Jackson in my fantasy league and start him as my WR3 against San Francisco tonight.
My general, first place fantasy lineup this season has been:
QB Aaron Rodgers

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
RB1 Arian Foster
RB2 Ryan Torain/Mike Tolbert/Jahvid Best/Ryan Grant
WR1 Miles Austin
WR2 Brandon Lloyd
WR3 Malcolm Floyd/Stevie Johnson/Johnny Knox/Vincent Jackson
TE Dustin Keller / gonna pick someone up
K Akers/Bryant/Folk/Buehler, anyone?
DEF Bears
FLEX Joe Flacco
BENCH Ryan Fitzpatrick (QB), Ryan Mathews (RB), Malcolm Floyd (WR).
Not so much of a moron now, am I?
I sat Malcom Floyd and started Vincent Jackson two hours or so before kickoff. Yes, it paid off, with three touchdowns and 112 receiving yards, or 29.20 fantasy points in the Yahoo! format, versus. 0.00 for Floyd.
I did finish first in my eight-team fantasy league and got the first round (Week 14) bye, and now, I need to win Weeks 15 and 16 for the dough.
Vincent Jackson might be enough, 30 points from one player; how often does that happen, even with the absence of Aaron Rodgers?
Let me know how your fantasy season is going, and I'll give you advice prior to Sunday, if possible.
