Fantasy Football Week 15 Waiver Wire: Players To Cut from Your Fantasy Team
Shonn Greene (New York Jets)
New York Jets running back Shonn Greene hasn’t scored since Week 5 and has had just two games with more than 15 carries since Week 4.
It appeared that with fellow running back LaDainian Tomlinson slowing down a bit that Greene would see a steady rise in his production; however, that hasn’t been the case.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Though Greene is starting to see a consistent amount of carries, about 15 a game, he has yet to rush for more than 72 yards or score a touchdown in any game since the bye week.
Plus, as we’ve seen with the Jets the last two weeks and at other points in the season, the offense is very inconsistent. That’s what you get with a second-year quarterback and a group of receivers that are very talented yet not trustworthy, either.
If you’ve got a deep bench then maybe hold on to Greene because we saw him finish out 2009 strong, but for now, his value looks to be very limited.
Johnny Knox (Chicago Bears)
By the end of the season, Chicago Bears receiver Johnny Knox is going to have better numbers than he did last year as a rookie.
However, he is not scoring much this year and that has killed his fantasy value.
He’s only got two touchdowns all season, with just one in his last five games. In the last three weeks, he has failed to catch more than three passes in a game.
On top of that, Knox faces some tough defenses over the next three weeks, including the Minnesota Vikings this week, the New York Jets next week and the Green Bay Packers in the regular-season finale.
Playing on such an inconsistent offense also hurts Knox because you simply don’t know what you’re going to get out of quarterback Jay Cutler.
Knox’s lack of recent production, his upcoming schedule and his quarterback are all things that make him expendable right now.
Mason Crosby (Green Bay Packers)
The Green Bay Packers offense took a potentially giant hit last week when quarterback Aaron Rodgers left the game with a concussion.
There is no word yet on his status this week, but it is the second concussion he’s suffered this season so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if he was inactive this week; however, he did not miss a start after suffering his previous concussion.
Without Rodgers, the offense declines, as does the value of kicker Mason Crosby. It’s not like Crosby has been lighting up the scoreboard anyway. He’s got just one double-digit fantasy performance in his last seven games and has attempted no more than one field goal in three of the last four weeks.
Regardless of the status of Rodgers, Crosby is worth cutting right now. Without Rodgers, Crosby doesn’t belong anywhere near a fantasy team.
