Philadelphia Eagles: Grading Sunday's Performance Against the Dallas Cowboys
Sunday night saw the Philadelphia Eagles narrowly defeat a division rival to move 9-4 on the season.
In a game highlighted by turnovers and long pass plays, the Eagles were able to hold on against a rejuvenated Dallas Cowboys team.
This a team that Philadelphia plays again the last week of the season at home, but if the Eagles win two of their next three, they will likely already have a playoff spot wrapped up by then.
Passing Offense: B+

DeSean Jackson is absolutely insane.
How else do you explain his 210 receiving yards on just four receptions?
Mike Vick completed 16 of his 26 passes for 270 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
The interceptions have started to come in higher numbers for Vick, and that's something he is going to need to address as the Eagles hone in on the playoffs.
Oh, and other than Jackson, a receiver needs to step up.
Rushing Offense: A

The Eagles' offense looked like a three man show on Sunday night.
DeSean, Mike, and LeSean.
On 16 carries, LeSean McCoy totaled 149 yards and effectively ran out the game with three consecutive first downs on the Eagles' last drive.
While McCoy didn't find the end zone on a run, Vick did on one of his eight attempts.
Pass Defense: B

Despite allowing Jon Kitna to complete 24 passes, the Eagles' secondary still had a good game.
That was due in part to big interceptions from Quintin Mikell and Dimitri Patterson.
Still, they avoided giving up the long ball and forced Kitna to dump the ball at the line of scrimmage more often than not.
The Eagles only got one sack, and that needs improvement.
Rush Defense: B

The Eagles gave up 110 yards on 24 carries.
Not exactly great, but not exactly awful.
What was worrisome was how it made Kitna look like a mobile quarterback as he scrambled three times for 27 yards.
Take out a big 26 yard run from Miles Austin, and the run defense was pretty shut down, but they have to be ready for plays like that.
Special Teams: A

As usual David Akers was automatic with his field goals, as he hit three of three, including a 50-yard boot that looked good from 65.
Sav Rocca did a good job of helping the Eagles get field position with his punts, and the kick returners also helped win the battle.
