The Arena Picks…

…so I’ll be picking every game on the NFL slate, mostly just because, well, I want to keep up with this whole blogging thing. I’ll be using Yahoo’s odds and picking both straight up and against the spread.

Do not use my picks for any purpose other than amusement. I guarantee they will be more amusing than they will be useful.

And for tonight, I’m just picking the Thursday night opener:

Washington Redskins at New York Giants (-4)

It’s not like Jerry Greene’s old saw about the E.R. Giants wasn’t true before; it just used to stand for East Rutherford. Washington should have an offense this year; then again, wasn’t that the point of having Al Saunders in years past? Still, the Super Bowl bounce counts for something.
