Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks, Stars In NHL Week 10 Fantasy Hot Players

Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks, one of the young superstars in the NHL, finally graces the Fantasy NHL Hot list in Week 10 of the season. Toews is one of the most gifted players in the NHL and tore it up in the 2009-2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Destined for greatness, is Toews finally ready to emerge as a fantasy superstar?

Will Toews be able to pick up for the Blackhawks and his fantasy teams without the assistance of his superstar teammate Patrick Kane?

If only people knew in advance. Carle killed it for the waiver wire this week. He scored one goal but threw out five assists. More impressively, he was +5 this week. He is not a recommended addition just yet, but definitely a player to add to the watch list as the Flyers get hot.

Kunitz is a very talented player, who could be a great fantasy player if given a lot of playing time. Unfortunately, he just does not get enough time on the stacked Penguins squad. When he does receive playing time, he performs great. This week he scored one goal on three shot attempts but dished out five assists. He finished +6.

The veteran was unstoppable this week. He scored four goals and dished out one assist. He finished +6 and took 13 shots on goal. Briere has done a very good job scoring goals for his fantasy owners as he already has 16 goals and 27 points on the season.

One of the top rated fantasy goaltenders, Miller graces the Fantasy Hot list once again.

Miller is having an up and down season, but this week he has back on top of the world. Miller has a .948 save percentage and two shutout victories in the past seven days. He has three wins for the week. Recording his first two shutouts of the season shows that Miller is ready to return as one of the top fantasy goaltenders.

Toews was one of the premier players in the Stanley Cup playoffs last season. He started the season rather slowly considering how scorching hot he finished last year.

I expected Toews to be one of the top centers this season but has not materialized just yet.
Toews finally makes the Hot list after finishing the past week with two goals and two assists on 12 shots on goal.

Perhaps this is just the beginning of the greatness that will be soon to come.
